Synopsis

  • Cheryl checks out Sgt. Mack's groceries at her new job at a supermarket. She tells him her new boss is a creep and he says crime is down since she made her family go straight. He says it'll never last.

Cut to Cal washing cars as Patty Hong comes home. She warns him her step-mom is no picnic. Her dad comes out needing a ride in the limo

At Rusty's Burgers, Heather waits on her snotty friends, who needle her about her non modeling career and her fast food zit.

Twin son Logan works at his fancy law firm and gets a visit from the vice principal, who he's apparently been seeing for seven years. He tries to distract her with some office sex. But she tells him to get Hope and her pictures of them off her case.

Cheryl sits through a Big Foods employee meeting. The manager Lawrence overhugs a young female employee of the month and Cheryl openly mocks him for it.

Back in the store she catches Heather shoplifting and takes the items. Lawrence watches her restock.

Cheryl goes to visit Wolf in prison. She tells him she likes having an honest job.

At home, the kids complain about the cheap dinner options. Logan drops by. Cal complains about mom ruining their perfectly good family business. She gives Heather the zit cream she bought her, but she runs off.

Later at night, she goes through all the overdue bills and finds an envelope of cash from Wolf.

Logan talks to Hope and tells her he's still seeing the vice principal. She promises not to use the pictures, then admits they burned down with grandpa's house.

At work, Cheryl finds the slimy manager leaning up against the young employee. She reminds him the women's room is still out of TP. He tells her she should check her attitude at the door. She fights back by taking TP off the shelf.

Heather goes to Hope's video store hangout, wanting more money for more headshots. Hope says she's busted, so Heather sidles up to Hope's friend Tad when he suggests he can take them.

At the store, Lawrence confronts Cheryl with Sgt. Mack and accuses her of stealing. She thinks it's about the TP, but he says her register was $500 short last night.

Cal returns to the Hong house and sees a 30 something woman in a bikini getting out of the pool. He asks who she is. He says he's an employee and then cautions her not to drink Mr. Hong's private booze. Suddenly she's very interested in him. She pours some booze into his mouth and down his neck, then licks it off. Then she starts kissing him, pushing him up against a cabinet and breaking a vase. It's Mrs. Hong.

Heather poses for photos for Tad as Hope gets ragingly jealous. Logan calls to let them know Cheryl's under arrest.

Cut to Logan in Sgt. Mack's office telling his mom the case won't stand.

In prison, Cheryl tells Wolf she's giving his money back to Charlie and will find another job. He objects to what their kids are having to do but she tells him with him away she's in charge now.

Cal gets drinks in a bar after work with his buddies, reminiscing about his earlier feats on the kitchen counter.

Tad corrects the photos of Heather on the computer while Hope continues being disgusted with him for being gaga over her sister. She insists he delete the pictures.

Logan and his vice principal celebrate the destruction of the blackmail photos in bed. She starts to get excited about them being able to date out in the open and meeting each other's families then she calls him her fiance and starts talking about their future children.

Sgt. Mack quizzes the West family over breakfast about a delivery van for the grocery store that was stolen last night. It was full of toilet paper. They point out he has no evidence. He leaves.

At the video store, Heather comes by asking for her photos. Hope tells her the computer crashed and they were lost. Heather refers to Tad as an idiot as she leaves. He hears it but still isn't dissuaded from his quest to get her in bed.

Cheryl talks to Wolf on the phone. He assures her he had nothing to do with the van theft. Cheryl answers the door and finds Lawrence her slimy manager there. He says he needs the van back, especially since the workers are all on strike. She makes him agree that everyone will keep their jobs and says she'll look into it.

Cheryl visits Charlie in a bar and gets the envelope of cash back from him. Then she announces to the bar that she'll give the $1,500 to whoever returns the van.

Mrs. Hong comes to Cal for a ride to the stables and some sex.

Cheryl comes home and finds Sgt. Mack waiting for her. He tells her he's keeping an open mind about the case and to let him know if she hears anything. "I'm going straight, I'm not joining the police force, solve your own problems," she tells him.

Mr. Hong calls her. In the back of his limo he tells her someone is shopping TP around. She gives him the $1,500 so she won't feel like she owes him.

She drops by a guy named Oscar in a bar and asks him about it. She tells him she's got connections, but he says not anymore.

Cal and Mrs. Hong return home and Cal tries to act cool about Mrs. Hong. When she leaves, he asks Cal if he's happy there and asks Cal if he likes his wife. He tells him he'll hurt anyone who touches her.

Cheryl's coworker Mr. T comes over to Cheryl's for dinner. Cheryl tells her the guy who took the TP is Native American like her and has the same tattoo. She knows who he is.

Cut to Mrs. T bashing the crap out of him with her purse in the bar and threatening to tell his mother. He says he'll give it back.

Cheryl and Lawrence arrive at the store to see boxes of TP in the parking lot.

At dinner, Cheryl serves her family rib roast. She tells them Lawrence "realized" the $500 was an accounting error. Cal announces he got a huge payday from Mr. Hong and takes out the $1,500 Cheryl gave Mr. Hong. They ask who was behind the heist. She says no one they know.

Cut to Oscar explaining to whoever hired him that he was jumped by three thugs (really, a middle aged woman with a handbag), so he had to give it back. He's talking to Wolf.

At Rusty burger, a guy asks Heather if she's a model and gives her his card.
