A crossover episode featuring Claudia from 'Warehouse 13'
Tweekums28 October 2018
This episode of 'Eureka' is featured as an extra in the season two box set of 'Warehouse 13'; as such I watched it without previous knowledge of the 'Eureka'.

After an introduction that explains how many of the main cast of characters had been transported to 1947 before returning, along with Dr Trevor Grant, to find many things changed. Fargo is rather excited as a VIP is due to visit Eureka; it turns out to be Claudia Donovan, who he got rather close to when he helped upgrade Warehouse 13's computer. She wants to see something interesting and doesn't have to wait long; four giant redwoods suddenly materialise in the facility. It isn't long before more items start appearing; it would appear that something is drawing them from 1947. If the team don't figure out what it could be cataclysmic.

I was surprised at just how easy it was to follow this story as I knew nothing of the characters, apart from Fargo's, thanks to his appearance in 'Warehouse 13'. The story is interesting with an intriguing central mystery as to why items are appearing and to who they might be stopped. It was fun seeing Claudia and Fargo reunited although anybody who didn't see his appearance in 'Warehouse 13' might be more than a little confused by some of their conversations about more personal matters. Overall I really enjoyed this and would, given the opportunity, watch more 'Eureka'.

Sticking to the Sci-Fi
GunnersMate26 May 2018
Crossing Over is a series cross-over episode between Eureka and Warehouse 13. If the viewer is not familiar with Warehouse 13, not everything in the script is perfectly understandable, but since getting lost in the techo-babble is not an unfamiliar concept in sci-fi series, this is not necessarily a bad thing, just worthy of noting. Our crisis of the week centers around items from the 1940s, of all shapes and sizes, suddenly appearing in Eureka in the same locations they occupied over 60 years ago. With the recent time-travel, it's no surprise the half-dozen time travelers are particularly effected and that the season arc is advanced. The Warehoues 13 element in the episode is fine, but largely wasted on those unfamiliar. As an extra added bonus, the growing depth of friendship between Jo and Jack, beyond their original sheriff-deputy experience, is explored and is becoming quite rich and wonderful. Very worth your time.
