Legacy movie - Good effort!
tashadibartolomeo11 March 2023
Having watched this movie and having worked on a few you can tell it's low budget but the director has done well considering all that it takes to create a feature film.

Sound was the biggest Criticism for me personally and acting/ casting could have been a lot better but I'm particularly impressed by a couple characters Danny Jackson, Rob Saviour and the policeman. All showed promise in the acting world and gave great passion in their performances. I think they have the potential to go far!

Overall, it's made it to Amazon prime and even won awards, there is always room for improvement. It's a good effort!

Really bad.
peterjamestyrrell8 March 2023
I would give constructive criticism like I tried on the first movie from this Director but he got all offended as he doesn't like honest reviews!

Clearly hasn't learned anything from the last attempt at making a film.

Obviously doesn't believe acting talent, quality sound production, sound design and sound scoring are important at all.

This film does have an honest review thankfully.

Please watch these films as a learning example of how NOT to make a film!

Award winning director, award winning writer???

Acting, sound, story, grading, sound design, lighting... All bad completely.

Stick to your day job!

Shocking Acting

How many times will low budget film made no effort to show anything other than the tough guy 'gangster' . They were thoroughly unlikeable, and whilst tony (Rob) gives a decent performance, I still couldn't care less about the fate of his gobby bully. Dan, meanwhile fares less well. Not sure what this guys background is, but he's not a very convincing tough guy. I think he has a slight speech impediment which may have been a character choice, but it didn't seem right for the part. I didn't believe him at all, and he only really seems to have one emotion. Angry swearing. The direction is competent without ever being very imaginative, and the film does seem to have been put together quite well, zipping along at a good old pace. It's a terrible film, it's just not really very interesting. It's been done better, many times, before. There is a very clear market for these films, and I guess whilst this obsession with cockney geezers remains we can expect more offerings like this one. Shame.

British gem
jlcraven-9299323 February 2023
A gripping British small budget film that is worth a watch. This film is fast paced and exciting, a brilliant watch to support the small film industry. They really have worked hard to create an in depth story following the main character and what in his past has brought him to his current situation and the many hurdles he has to get through to finally get away from a life he wants no part of any more. The film shows the consequences of living a secret life and being involved with gangsters and how that can damage and effect everyone around them. If you want to watch something raw and authentic I would suggest this film.

"Legacy" is a gripping and intense thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Directed by Dan Brothers, this film has a classic storyline that focuses on the Saviour family and their determination to protect their legacy at all costs.

The tension is excellently maintained throughout the film as the audience is taken on a wild ride of high-stakes action and suspense. The cinematography is exceptional, with each shot carefully crafted to heighten the tension and amplify the emotional impact of the story.

The performances of the cast are outstanding, particularly that of the lead actor who plays Rob Saviour. He conveys the character's desperation and determination in a way that is both convincing and captivating. The supporting cast members also deliver strong performances, bringing depth and complexity to their respective roles.

The film's plot is filled with unexpected twists and turns, keeping the audience engaged and guessing until the very end. The themes of family loyalty, revenge, and the price of success are explored in a way that is both thought-provoking and emotionally resonant.

Really enjoyed!

I went to the premiere of this, really enjoyed it! Storyline was enjoyable and I thought the casting was spot on. Looking forward to these guys' next project! Story moved along nicely and keeps audience interested, also very good locations were used for the right scenes also. Likeable characters that the script made sure you got to know, also it wasn't just violence and gore all the way through like some films of this genre lean towards. Enjoyed the development and backstories of the main characters, really good/ well set up for a possible prequel on the main family featured, I would definitely watch!
