"The Vampire Attack" is a little short film from 5 years ago and was made during filming "Where the Wild Things Are". It does not even run for a minute and basically has lead actor Max Records being attacked by a vampire played by writer and director Spike Jonze. That's all there is to it. I am not really sure how they got the idea as there are no vampires in the movie. Probably just some random snippet they decided to include on the DVD for whatever reason. Jonze also directed this one by the way. All in all, nothing too memorable, but then again I am not the greatest fan of "Where the Wild Things Are". Otherwise I may have appreciated this more. Or not as it has pretty much nothing to do with the movie. Fairly forgettable very short film and I don't recommend it.

Not a serious exercise about filming a vampire attack

This is not a short film about a vampire attack, but an extremely short film on shooting a scene of a vampire attack. Do not expect anything in Spike Jonze's standards (Being John Malkovich and Her are true masterpieces!), as it seems only a joke of him with cinematographer Lance Bangs and the kid. Indeed, the boy is actor Max Records, from "Where the Wild things are" (which was directed by Jonze), and this short film was included in that DVD. Despite terribly amateur, it leads to a comparison between what is filmed and the edited footage, what is a little interesting.
