- Recap.
Jill orders from a gourmet lobster, macaroni and cheese truck. Proprietor Mac tells her he had a fender-bender - better to have that than the deep fryer burn he shows above his elbow. Jill says he could have called Hank. She'd given Hank's number to Donna, but Mac says that he and Donna aren't speaking. Suddenly, Mac slams his window shut and pulls down his "Come Back Tomorrow" shade. As Jill takes her food and joins Hank at the table, Mac (unseen inside) holds his stomach in pain.
Hank's review of the hospital contract shows that it can veer funds away from Jill's family clinic for anything it wants, whenever it wants, and that it could be five years until it even opens, if at all. Hank offers to let Evan look into it, since he's good with numbers... and liars. She asks if he's worried about Emily staying in town and running a competing concierge practice. He's not.
Evan tells Divya his thoughts about buying a new Jaguar; she needs personal time off. Hank walks in, hears the requests (for a car and time off), and says yes to both. A call interrupts. Hank hands Evan the hospital contract to look over, tosses over the keys to the Saab, and leaves with Divya.
Donna broke her ankle in a rush to move out. She's not comfortable at the house and admits to tying Mac to a chaise lounge while he was asleep so she could pack up the truck undisturbed. Hank sees Mac (now awake) fall into the swimming pool while totally tied up in a garden hose. Hank dives in and frees him. Donna tells Hank and Divya that Mac has been shamelessly flirting with every woman he sees since they arrived in the Hamptons. They are recently married and live in Queens, and Mac's wealthy cousin gave them use of his house for the Summer. Evan, unable to reach Hank through his soaked cell phone, arrives to inform him of a kiteboarding accident. Divya stays and Hank leaves with Evan.
On the beach, Paige, a "rich heiress," talks on the phone with her mother, trying to convince her that she has a boyfriend. Paige meets Hank and Evan on the beach and tells them she called two doctors to work on her photographer boyfriend Graham, who is considerably older, and who sliced his leg while kiteboarding. Emily, already there, finishes up with the stitches. She leaves with a catty remark to Hank.
At a fitting, Divya has dress issues. Her wedding gown is too small. That's a bad omen and her mother plans to consult her spiritual leader, Pundit-Ji, at the next opportunity. Divya is more for simply finding some matching fabric to fix it.
Before Hank can leave, Paige pulls him aside to ask if he'll pretend to be her boyfriend for her parents' sake, as they wouldn't understand Graham's age. Hank declines and leaves. Evan steps forward to say he'll do it; Paige leaves.
While Emily tarries to call Hank "less uptight" in his borrowed clothes from Mac, Hank notices Graham standing on top of his car fastening his board and wonders. Emily says she did check him for a concussion and he's fine. Emily leaves, Hank talks to Graham, and Graham also says he's fine, but he clearly is having some sort of balance issues.
Paige, convinced by Evan that Hank will never say yes, agrees to let Evan pose as her more age-appropriate boyfriend instead. Though she's dated Graham for sixteen months, he'll be going on a three-month trip to Egypt soon and she wants to go too. Paige now needs parental approval for money for the trip and must show them proof of an age-appropriate boyfriend. In the process, Evan gets to see her drawing portfolio, which is really good work. She will pick him up later for his makeover (to match him to her sketch work).
Hank visits Graham, who has burned himself in his darkroom. Hank looks at the chemicals which Graham has been using "since (he) was a kid." He misread one chemical and accidentally formed a dangerous explosive that burned him. Hank suggests he have his eyes checked.
While Divya works in Donna's kitchen, another fight breaks out with Mac. Mac complains the medicine his wife gave him isn't working. Divya inquires after what he was given.
Paige takes Evan to get a makeover, followed by the two taking a bunch of digital effects photos, making it look as if they are enjoying one another's company during youthful pursuits and have a real relationship. During this process she ends up kissing Evan. He thinks this could mean the chance of a relationship with her but, done with him, she pays him off, drops him off, and drives off.
Inside, Divya tells Hank her concerns about Donna and Mac. An obviously upset Evan crosses through, calling himself a "dirty whore." Turning back to their problem, Divya asks Hank to test the medicine Donna was giving Mac for poison.
Emily arrives at Hank's place, upset with him for having "stoled" her client, Graham. "Stoled" Graham? Hanks mentions her slaughter of the English language. She mentions that Graham had a mountain biking accident before the kiteboarding incident; Hank mentions the darkroom incident. She thinks it's age-related, Hank thinks it's life-style related. They shake on it: Whoever is right has to buy the other one dinner. Jill arrives and is introduced to Emily. Emily leaves, saying she's doing lunch with Jill and dinner with Hank (with him buying).
Outside, Hank gives Jill advice on making her family clinic happen - set up at another hospital. Bad PR from taking funds meant for the community could provide leverage, too.
Next day. Lab results aren't back. Evan, wanting to talk, tells Hank and Divya he is easily seduced by glamour and money. To show his personal growth, he is turning his "tainted money" for the Jaguar over to HankMed. Evan then notices that Divya is without her engagement ring, and she realizes she has misplaced it, but where? "That's a bad sign," says Evan.
Divya goes to Donna's house with Hank looking for her ring. They spot blood on the stairs and rush inside. Mac is fine. The blood was from Donna's ankle and it seems Divya's ring is inside her cast. With Mac covered in macaroni and moving about strangely, Hank suggests a neuro-exam.
Answering a page, Evan arrives at Paige's place but runs into Graham, who found evidence of them kissing in the camera booth and called Evan to the house.
Mac's symptoms since arriving in the Hamptons -- anti-social behavior, need to touch, increased appetite -- have Hank concerned. Donna mentions that Mac's truck was hit when they were in New York. Hank and Divya deduce that Mac needs a CT scan and an MRI. Divya does not find her ring in Donna's cast, where she suspected it.
At Graham's request, Evan tells him about the pretend relationship and the reason for it. Graham keels over and asks Evan to call Hank.
During an exam, Hank suggests Graham is having strokes in his eye. At this point Graham has an embolism in his "camera eye" and Hank ends up having to drain fluid to save his eyesight with a make-shift emergency procedure.
Divya tells Hank that Mac indeed has a neurological condition, which they can take care of. Divya's ring is actually inside Mac's stomach, along with a key and other inedible items.
Divya's dress fits at last, but her mother notices her ring is missing. Her mother's spiritual leader told her that Divya is destined to love another, and he is never wrong.
Back in his food truck, Mac is doing much better, and for the medical help he received, Jill and Divya's macaroni and cheese is on the house. Jill and Divya are glad to see Mac and Donna have worked things out.
Hank and Emily have dinner and seem to be hitting it off. When they discuss the dinner bet, they agree it's a split, so Emily suggests they go "Danish" on the bill. Hank points out that the correct word is "Dutch." He then remarks that she mixes up her words when she's flustered; the other alternative is that she has a neurological condition. Emily proceeds to kick his butt in a game of pool.
Hank buys Evan a new, more modest van. He isn't thrilled initially but gets seduced by it's remote controlled doors. Paige pulls up. Her parents are coming to town and she needs him to meet them since Graham, upset at the revelation of the charade she planned, has left her and gone off to Egypt alone. Before Evan can say no to playing her boyfriend again, Paige drives off.
Hank goes to see Jill at the hospital. She proposes that Hank's company run her new clinic. He appears to like the idea, from a business angle for sure, but it could be personally uncomfortable - but "comfort's overrated."
