- The final three contestants: Tyra, Raven and Jujubee must perform a dramatic scene before cameras, create a vintage 80s look, and perform in RuPaul's music video "Jealous of my Boogie" before revealing the season two contest winner.
- The finale episode shows the top 3 queens of the season battling to be America's Next Drag Superstar. Santino Rice and [ink=nm1299555] arrive at the work room to give the girls their final maxi challenge. Dressing in their best 80's inspired outfits, they will star in the music video of RuPaul's latest single, "Jealous of my Boogie". Make-up artist, Mathu Andersen is directing the music video with reality star, Robert Verdi helping the girls with their fashion. Also helping the girls is choreographer, Ryan Heffington who will help direct a Dynasty (1981) style fight scene with RuPaul.
During the shoot, each of the queens has a script to learn and then act opposite RuPaul, ending in a confrontation and an over-dramatic slap. Raven (David Petruschin) begins to forget some of her lines whilst Jujubee tends to over-exaggerate. Tyra (James William Ross IV) is asked to look hurt by Mathu but is misheard by her due to his accent. Tyra thinks he said 'hood' which leads to a much better scene than initially planned.
Each queen gets a one on one chat with RuPaul when they're out of drag to get a better understanding of their lives outside of drag. Jujubee reflects on his father's death whilst Tyra tells RuPaul about how winning the show will provide a better life for his son. Raven reveals that his parent's divorce really affected him along with dealing with his mother's heartbreak.
There are no special guest judges on the panel with RuPaul but regular judges Santino and Merle are there to help choose their winner. RuPaul believes that Jujubee possesses the highest intelligence of the three queens but Merle believes Tyra has more overall star power. Jujubee is eliminated first and comes in at third place.
Raven and Tyra are then left to Lip Sync for the Crown to RuPaul's single, "Jealous of my Boogie". Raven says that she will continue to perform as always in the confessional. Tyra's performance includes an outfit reveal, singing in front of the panel desk and a final split.
After deliberation, RuPaul crowns Tyra Sanchez as the winner of the 2nd season and America's Next Drag Superstar. Overwhelmed with emotion and struggling to breathe, Tyra collapses but quickly recovers, laughing in her confessional about forgetting to breathe. Tyra wins a lifetime supply of Nyx Cosmetics, an exclusive one-year contract public relations contract with Logo Drag Race tour and a grand cash prize of $25,000.
