Goofs

(at around 50 mins) Amy lies down on her left side on a sofa in the Turkish immigrants' flat she and Ben are hiding in. However, she was grazed by a bullet on her left arm in the hospital fight scene earlier, and her wound would have precluded her from being able to put any pressure on her arm, much less lie on it.

In hotel's underground garage, when Amy is searching for an escape vehicle using fobs in the valet key box, the last and closest car she tries is an Audi, by the large grille emblem, but in the next and subsequent scenes she is driving a BMW wagon.

When Amy is in the hotel lobby, the same extra (lady in long coat, carrying a purse in one hand and pulling a hardshell yellow suitcase) walks by twice; once before Amy's dad goes to the room, a second time when they show Amy during the fight in the hotel room.

The Silver Saab 93 Ben is driving changes to a 93 Turbo (three spoke alloy wheels, black spoiler) from the point of the hard brake manoeuvre through to the eventual crash.

Ben and Anna board the train in Brussels-North. When the train stops and Ben gets off, the train is Brussels-North again.

Ben inserts bare wires into the C4 inside the briefcase. C4 is a very stable explosive. It takes a considerable shock to set off this reaction. You can literally burn it and it won't explode. The bomb would requires a detonator like a blasting cap to work.

Anna has an allergic reaction within seconds after tasting peanut-filled cookies. In reality, peanut allergic reactions that at least minutes or even hours.

While still (ostensibly) in Langley, Anna Brandt picks up the 'phone and tells an operative to 'alert our Consulate in Brussels, and get a local team ready'-Brussels is a capital city, it has an Embassy, not a Consulate.

When showing euro currency in several scenes the EUR100 notes are shown as blue, in reality they are light green. The EUR20 notes are that color of blue.

Anna of the CIA received a cell phone call while in the CIA Black Vault. One would not have a cell signal in a bank-style vault.

When Ben is making the briefcase bomb, he tests the switch to verify it activates when the briefcase is opened. But the way he designs the switch, it would activate the bomb upon either opening or closing the briefcase. Thus, he would have killed himself when he closed it after assembling it device. However, careful observation shows that there is a mechanism on the switch, and he is actually checking that it will ( and will only ) operate after two openings.

When Ben and Amy arrive at the Antwerp Central station and get off the train the sign at the platform says "NIET INSTAPPEN" which means "DO NOT BOARD", however people are boarding the train.

Antwerp is the biggest Flemish-speaking city in Belgium, as well as a Flemish-nationalist stronghold. Yet most local communication in the movie there takes place in French. That would have been frowned upon.

One of the scenes (when Ben has just discovered his entire company has disappeared) is supposedly shot in Antwerp. However traffic light posts are painted red and white indicating the scenes weren't filmed in Flanders where traffic light posts are black/yellow. Googling a hotel name in the background reveals the scene was actually shot in Brussels.

During the bag drop-off at the underpass, the scene was filmed in the United States rather than in Belgium. The street signage design attached to the underpass bridge is unique to American streets. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class car is US-spec.

The car crash supposedly happens whilst leaving Brussels when they actually drive in to the city. When the car is on its side roadsigns point to "Mechelen-Noord", "Mechelen-Zuid" en "Mechelen-Centrum" (Mechelen North, South and City Centre) leading to believe these scenes were filmed in Mechelen and not in Brussels. In reality, the scene was shot in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. The road is Highway 50, near what used to be Mirabel International Airport (now closed), which can be seen in the background (black building with multi-level parking).

Anna meets Ben on the train from Bruxelles Nord and they are on the train for a considerable time whilst driving through the country. When Ben gets out, it 's still the station of Bruxelles Nord.

Ben goes to Halgate's offices to find his boss, Derek Kohler. When the receptionist can't find Mr. Kohler in the directory, Ben spells out the last name as K-O-L-H-E-R.

When Ben calls Anna to meet in the train at platform 8, she takes the stairs to get there. But when she appears at the platform, you can see that she took the escalator.
