After Maggie the barmaid enters Skeldale House, she removes her coat to hand it to Tristan, and has a scarf wrapped around her neck. In the next shot taken from the other side, as she hands her coat to Tristan, the scarf is gone.
At the party, Mr. Kitson called Helen "Mrs Herriot", even though she and James haven't gotten married yet.
