Based on the best selling novel "The Queens Daughter" From the trailer alone, it made the hair on the back of my neck stand. You can see and feel a lot of time and passion was spent in putting together this "short" on the horrifying event that took place Feb 12 1976. Scott's respect for this gut wrenching story and the characters involved shine in Determined. I personally can see why this film was awarded "best drama" at the 2011 Love Your Shorts-film festival. No doubt there will be more awards and accolades to come for Determined and its up and coming young Director I expect big things from this Canadian, and look forward to seeing more work.
