David Caruso in CSI: Miami (2002)

Goofs

Time Bomb

CSI: Miami

Edit

Revealing mistakes

Nevins' lower left limbs are blown off of her body, yet the severed leg from her body looks like her right one.

Miscellaneous

The GPS chip that the coroner found in the bomb victim's body led CSI to Ryan house. Ryan got home to find CSI investigating his home and was a bit angry. They found something to implicate Ryan in the bombing so they had to arrest him. They didn't take his gun from him, which should be standard policy.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

During the news report, just after the opening credits, the reporter states that the bombing was in "East Miami", whereas his lips say "West Miami".

Errors in geography

Sully's boat was clearly registered in California, where the series is shot, and not in Florida, where the series is set.

Plot holes

Ryan is implicated in the bombing when the bomb car's GPS leads them back to his house. The GPS chip was found embedded in the ADA's body during the autopsy, among lots of shrapnel. That's one heck of a frame, blowing up a car next to your victim's car and managing to aim the debris/shrapnel accurately enough for the chip out of the GPS unit to end up in the victim's body.
