For the SOTUS fandom, here comes a novel based story from writer of TOL. I wanted to give up on watching this coz P' Mike left this project. After watching them in safe house, it was a disappointing news. Well Gawin is not a bad substitute. His skills from 'Not me' appear to have improved owing either to the director's expertise or efforts of the acting coach. His voice is undoubtedly melodious. I feel sorry for Aye, at least she is not dead this time. 'Khun Kawi, please stop turning the orb as you please. Poor girl had to marry almost everyone on the sets (lol)' Compared to his earlier roles, Krist was watchable. I believe P'Waa could harness better skills from him after working together in 'Good Old days'. Ending the story on an emotional note must not have been herculean to the director of 'Malila'. P'Waa, I know what you slipped in there, rooftop in ep 5, even though it was shot in broad daylight. It was once our home :( Casting team has done an amazing job, one producer, one male singer, one female singer, one band of instrumentalists in supporting role, ohoo.... they can totally concert together. Nice move, GMMTV. A similar plot, as of this series, has not been in the vicinity hence i appreciate their attempt. Kawi's exaggeratedly hilarious actions, congruent to most C Drama female lead roles, kept me watching through the episodes. The reasons that i wouldn't give it a full score, firstly, re watch value is nil. Second and most importantly, the interactions between leads felt like the bond i share with my youngest cousin (I hope people are not adolescent enough to ask if we kissed each other)

Good and touching

I found out about this show on twitter and I'm so glad I decided to watch it. At first it was just fun and games because Kawi kept trying to "fix" his relationship with Pear but it just never turned out the way he wanted it to. But as the plot progressed, so did the character development and the relationship between the characters. I loved how Kawi's friendship with Pear (and Max) turned out in the end. And I also really liked the tender and vulnerable moments each main character shared with their parents. Honestly I cried at those parts because their parents were so understanding and supportive of them. There was no judgement and the characters were allowed to feel what they were feeling without any guilt. But of course, those were all supporting the main event which was the relationship between Kawi and Pisaeng.

I freaking love Pisaeng. He's like the perfect guy and boyfriend and I got kind of annoyed because Kawi was so indecisive and unsure of himself and his feelings for Pisaeng. It's so easy for me to judge Kawi but how he felt and acted were justified because he had always believed himself to be straight. So the sprinkle of angst was unavoidable but it made them getting together that much sweeter. Kawi's character growth was immense and he's a completely different person at the end compared to the 1st episode which is a good thing. The happy ending was good too.

Criminally underrated

Be My Favorite is what I look from a series, character development. Not everyone has given a second chance and in my opinion, Bodkawi did an amazing job using those chances to be better. At first, Bodkawi is an unlikable character, but his development throughout this series really paid off that makes you root for him whoever he ends up with. He's a relatable character and you could understand his choices from start to finish of the series. Then for Pisaeng, he's troubled about his identity but he is aware of his feelings. Pisaeng is a very thoughtful person and a very lovable character. For me this series is a hidden gem and I hope more people could see Be My Favorite.
