- The Hispanic Report is a comedy project about a late night TV talk show created for the Latino and Hispanic community in America by two powerful TV producers Brian Johnson from New York and Martha Watts a California woman who have been working together for a while even with their challenging relationship. They are powerful and successful, and their goal is to make money without spending much no matter what. Being cheap is their thing and as result Martha, who's does most of the work in their business relationship, must make a hard decision to cast as the host of the talk show an unknown local Latino actor named Manuel Rodriguez over a well-known famous actor. Manuel Rodriguez, known as Manny by his family and friends, is another struggling actor in New York City who is just looking for an opportunity to make it on the big screen, make some money and be able to have a normal life, but unfortunately, and as many actors in New York City know, things are not that easy. Manny has another job as an Uber driver and as a background actor on tv shows and movies while he waits for his big break. The entertainment business can be a bitch and Manuel is going take this opportunity even though he doesn't have the TV host experience or speak great English, but thanks to his perseverance and hard work he's able to handle it and in the process he's going to meet interesting people like, George Flowers and the Amigo, who are going to become friends and help him somehow to make The Hispanic Report a successful late night TV talk show.
