  Tess Mercer : You don't trust me still. Oliver, I get it, but you need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture.

  Oliver Queen : Yeah, like the one that you're trying to paint yourself into? Our team, we protect secrets. We don't keep them from one another. I'm not sure you know the difference.

  Tess Mercer : Lex kept a record of all of LuthorCorp's active excavation sites. Unfortunately, he also deleted it. However, nothing in cyberspace is totally lost. So it might take me a little bit of time with your low-tech laptop here, but I think that I could reconstruct the files.

  Clark Kent : Time is not a luxury we have. Please hurry.

  Oliver Queen : Where are you going?

  Clark Kent : Try and prevent the end of the world.

• Cat Grant : It's time the world knows the truth. That the Blur is nothing but a liar and a thief. Lois isn't going to know what hit her.

  Tess Mercer : Ohhh, If this is just a petty attempt for you to one-up a fellow reporter, Cat...

  Cat Grant : Oh, I'm not trying to scoop Lois, she is the scoop. Lois Lane is the Blur!

• Dr. Alfonso : I came to take the boy, but security won't let me.

  Tess Mercer : Under my orders. Alexander is staying with me.

  Dr. Alfonso : With all due respect, you flew me here to observe the boy.

  Tess Mercer : He doesn't need to be watched, Doctor. He needs to be loved.

  Dr. Alfonso : And you think you can do that? The boy's stability is in question. Ultimately, he may prove dangerous. Why would you risk your safety? What do you see that I don't?

  Tess Mercer : His heart.

  Oliver Queen : Sometimes you have to watch things from a distance in order to see them more clearly. You were right, about me turning into a caricature of myself.

  Oliver Queen : God, I miss her. I miss her laugh and, uh, her strength, the way her eyes lit up when I entered the room. She really loved me. I gave her a secret that was too hard to hold on to. She paid the price for keeping it.

  Tess Mercer : Oliver, when it comes to you... no price was too high for Chloe.

  Oliver Queen : I guess you can still spot real love. I'm sorry for what I said.

  Tess Mercer : Don't be. It's the truth. And there hasn't been a lot of that in my life. Just like there hasn't been a lot of love.

  Oliver Queen : Apparently the third wheel of your bullpen bust thinks that Lois is the Blur.

  Tess Mercer : Which is why I erased all the security footage of Lois crumpling a metal door with her hand and throwing a security guard across a warehouse. Cat saw what she saw, but at least now she can't prove it.

• Cat Grant : I know who this is. Even when no one else believes in you, he's the one person who loves you unconditionally. The one you'd risk anything for. You need Peter Pan and chicken noodle soup.

  Tess Mercer : Excuse me?

  Cat Grant : That's what my little boy wants when he's not feeling well. I know the look of a worried mother when I see one.

  Tess Mercer : This boy's not my son.

  Cat Grant : Oh. Oh, with the red hair, I just assumed that...

  Tess Mercer : Are you here to pitch the follow-up to your last piece about the problematic squirrel population?

  Cat Grant : They're rodents, and probably rabid. Whatever. Um... what I'm working on now is a history-making headline. I know the identity of the Blur. And that so-called hero is right in your bullpen.

  Tess Mercer : I'll admit that our HR office needs a little bit of work, but...

  Cat Grant : Being a reporter is the perfect cover for the Blur. You... you can be first on scene and no one will question it. You-you can cover your tracks, you can blow your own horn.

  Tess Mercer : You can be surrounded by people who expose secrets for a living?

• Adrianna Tomaz : So, after our guys finishing moving everything over to the exhibit hall, we'll set up a platform next to the sarcophagus which is where... you'll land. And then the Green Arrow girls will come out.

  Oliver Queen : Green Arrow girls? Really?

  Tess Mercer : Billionaire by day and hero by night. Oliver, you're better than Christmas.

• Tess Mercer : Isis: A Tale of Eternal Love. That's quite a title you chose.

  Oliver Queen : You know, my love life may not be in the same shape it was when I started funding this project, but, uh... I still believe in the story.

  Tess Mercer : And you're hoping that wherever she may be, some feisty little blonde is gonna get the message.

  Oliver Queen : [moving to leave]  Excuse me.

  Tess Mercer : If only you were still the same guy that Chloe fell for and not a caricature of him. What are you up to, Oliver?

  Oliver Queen : This city has embraced me. I'm trying to give something back.

  Tess Mercer : Groupie love isn't real love, Oliver. You used to know that.

  Oliver Queen : Do you even know what real love looks like anymore?

• Adrianna Tomaz : Oliver, we have a, uh, very serious problem. Well, the, uh... amulet of Isis is, uh... missing.

  Tess Mercer : What a shame. But what do they say, Oliver? "The show must go on."
