They all got it right.

Warning: Spoilers
Another murder, oh darn, but wait, Castle has received the dailies from the film based on his novel 'Nikki Heat', and he is not very pleased. He thinks the actress playing the lead, Natalie (Laura Prepon), is totally wrong for the role. Then his daughter Alexis (Molly Quinn) chimes in praising Natalie in roles from other movies (which she was not allowed to view) quite strongly, but digressing. The chemistry among Nathan, Laura, and Stana was unquestionable. Although Castle (Nathan Fillion) was at first put off with Natalie characterizing his beloved Nikki Heat (Stana Katic/Kate Beckett), he soon 'warmed up' to the idea. Another murder ensued with Natalie 'acting' more like Beckett than she herself knew. Best episode (IMHO) ever!

One of the series best episodes

One of the most fun things that a series can do after dozens of episodes is to let its writers get creative with a "meta" episode. Here, the interplay between the "fictionalized" version of a fictional character creates great character comedy while it comments on the whole idea of acting versus reality.

The funniest episode of Castle

Warning: Spoilers
After watching the entire series I can say for sure that this episode is the funniest ever and one of the best Castle episodes.

The case isn't really memorable to me but that's not a problem.

We've already learned in the last season that there will be a Nikki Heat movie. Now we get the chance to meet the actress which will play Nikki Heat.

And it's a hell of experience, Natalie is much smarter than we first thought. She analysis Becket and all the little things she does in minutes.

The episode really starts to get great by the time Natalie becomes Becket. It is kinda creepy but also fascinating.

I also love the "coffee in the morning" being taken by Natalie once again a great sign for the relationship status of Caskett.

The moment Natalie started to dress like Beckett could have been too much, but the reaction of everyone around her stopped the scene from being to silly and ridiculous.

I also think that Natalie having such a deep understanding of Beckett's and Castle's relationship helps Beckett coming to terms with her feelings in the long run and let's be honest the sex scene between Heat and Rook is verbal masturbation.

Overall an awesome episode.
