Beef's 9th episode is an absolute masterpiece that will leave you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. This episode is a roller coaster ride of intense emotions and thrilling plot twists that will have you gasping in shock and awe.

The episode follows Isaac and his friends as they kidnap Danny, Paul, and June, setting off a chain of events that only gets crazier and more intense as the episode progresses. The tension builds steadily throughout the episode, never letting up for even a moment, making it impossible to look away.

What really sets this episode apart is the masterful direction. The cinematography is breathtaking, with stunning shots that perfectly capture the mood and intensity of each scene. The pacing is spot-on, with each moment building upon the last to create a truly unforgettable viewing experience.

Without spoiling anything, I must say that the plot twists in this episode are nothing short of genius. They come out of nowhere and completely upend everything you thought you knew about the story, leaving you reeling in shock and disbelief. But despite the twists, the narrative remains cohesive and tightly-woven, making for a truly satisfying viewing experience.

Overall, Beef's 9th episode is a must-watch for anyone who loves intense, thought-provoking television. The episode is a masterpiece of storytelling, direction, and cinematography, and is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who watches it. So grab some popcorn, settle in, and get ready for a wild ride that you won't soon forget.

The suspense of it all!

Warning: Spoilers
One of the single most tense and gripping episodes of television I've ever watched. It had me speechless, shocked and enthralled. Nice payoffs and conclusions to earlier parts in the story, including Easter eggs for the viewers with sharp eyes. Some gore, but honestly it's equal parts shocking and satisfying. Then there's the really, truly beautiful cinematography.. the scene with the red smoke!? Insane.

I will be recommending this series to everyone I know... But this episode is the jewel in the crown.

Just.. watch it! Please! The world needs more of this!

Thank you so much to the writers, directors, actors. If you worked on this, you should be very proud.

Constant Chaos
Mesina0222 May 2023
This episode was nothing short of great. It delivers on a lot of things and it does give you that payoff that you've been waiting to see.

Right from the first episode, the road rage incident caused a domino effect leading to the catastrophe in this episode. Every character that was featured here only happened to be in that position because of Danny and Amy's choices.

This was all due to the decisions they've made and even before this episode you could have easily knew that things were only gonna get worse. This was the outcome they didn't want to happen but as each episode went by they became so engulfed in their trauma and their frustrations that it became impossible for them to ignore.

Actions have consequences and that is truly reflected in this episode.

Worst episode of the series

Warning: Spoilers
Mass chaos and "main" characters dying does not automatically make good television. There are so many things that don't make any logical sense in this episode.

The entire climax of the episode is built off of sheer coincidence that June somehow gets in Danny's car when he is fleeing the fight between him and George.

When Amy finds out that June was "kidnapped", why does she stay at Jordan's house and not leave to find her daughter? Earlier in the show we know that Amy is doing everything she can to please Jordan into solidifying her business deal, but that doesn't matter anymore so what is the point of staying?

When Isaac gets to Jordan's house why did Amy ask if June was ok - completely giving away to Jordan and Naomi that she set up this robbery. We can also hear the police sirens in the distance when it was said multiple times not to call the police.

Then they try to come up with a plan to make Danny and Paul look like they are holding everyone hostage. So why would your plan for this mean locking them in a room by themselves. That literally just makes Danny and Paul look like the hostages!!!

When the police finally get to Jordan's house, there is a massive fire fight where the police are literally just spraying bullets into this house like its a warzone when there are only like two bad guys with pistols.

Not going to go into Jordan dying because I didn't care about that character.

Although throughout the series we see the characters making repeatedly terrible decisions, those can be understood due to the compulsive nature characters like Danny and Amy make all the time. In this episode things just happened to make chaos which I presume they thought would be entertaining. Sadly, I guess the writers were right because a lot of people seemed to love this episode, but compare it to any award winning series and you will find writing 10 times better than this.

I loved Steven Yuen and Ali Wong's performances throughout the show so I was pretty sad that it ended as it did.

What a frustratingly confusing meltdown.

Warning: Spoilers
I truly don't understand how writers can take such a clever, heartfelt, beautifully-crafted show and abandon all pretenses of logic or narrative satisfaction in favor of suddenly wanting to write an action flick. Major story beats happen for essentially no reason, and characters seem like they were transported into a completely different show. I can almost see what they were going for, but the way everything was executed and the arbitrary character deaths left much to be desired. I do not see how this episode contributes at all to the themes of the show, outside of the obvious superficial level. Very disappointed by the conclusion of what was becoming one of my favorite shows in recent memory.
