Goofs

Hector cooks a meal then leaves an African home. The taxi has two red rear lights. Stopped at the security check point, the left hand side rear light has failed. The false security guards steal the taxi and both rear lights are lit. Again later, both rear lights are lit.

In the night club, Ying Li joins Hector at his table where he wears spectacles. We then see them both walk up a stairway. Hector neither wears nor carries the spectacles. On the final camera shot (looking down the stairs) Hector has his spectacles in his right hand.

Hector ask the pilot to reduce altitude to help reduce cabin air pressure on a women who was having severe head pain. Commercial aircraft cabin pressure is held at a constant 6 to 8 thousand feet. Changing altitude of a commercial jet airplane will not effect cabin pressure unless there is a failure with the aircraft such as a hole in the aircraft pressure vessel.

Hector uses computers and more specifically Skype several times to videochat with his girlfriend, yet none of the computers he uses seem to be equipped with the necessary camera or microphone that enables his girlfriend to see and hear him.

Hector is in a metal booth presumably designed to stop electronic signals interfering with the brain scanner, but he takes a call on a mobile phone, which also is a powerful transmitter and would mess up the brain scanner.

The sweet potato pie is served in a $400 Le Creuset oval dutch oven. This level of cookware would be freakishly uncommon in such a setting, even if purchased second- or third-hand.

At the airport security check, Hector is scanned with a metal detector wand. There is a series of beeps and whistles that are not usually heard AND the security guard does not react to the beeps.

Agnes' vehicle is a Ford Escape with a body style that was not released until the 2013 model year. Its California license plate, however, starts with 3NQI. California plates are numbered sequentially. 3N* plates were issued to vehicles circa 1996-7. Standard plates like this do not transfer to newer vehicles, but remain with the vehicle even when sold, so this plate could not have been issued to this vehicle.

Hector's journey into work at the very beginning of the film is geographical chaos. Initially it shows him in the City of London (north of the Thames) on Paternoster Square, then he's immediately crossing the Millennium Bridge south to north, heading again into the City. His office is shown in the shadow of the Shard (south of the Thames) and then when he's picked up from work by his gf, he's once again in the City.

When Hector lands Shanghai, it is actually HK airport.

When Hector is in Africa he tells Diego to talk to another doctor in Bogota and mention that Hector referred him.

Bogota is in Columbia which is in South America.

The banner for Hectors welcome back party misspells his name as "Hectar".
