The drug used to poison Oscar Silva is said to be Methylphenidate, better known by its brand name Ritalin. During his allocution, Nelson Lehman claims he mixed "twelve 500-milligram capsules" of Methylphenidate into Silva's cereal. However, the maximum amount that any single formulation Ritalin capsule or tablet contains is 60mg, and that is for a 24-hour extended-release formulation. The idea of a 500mg Methylphenidate capsule is ludicrous by itself, and in an individual prone to high blood pressure or aneurysm, would possibly cause death on its own.
The date of the allocution hearing is listed as Monday, March 20th. Since they already established the previous week contained Monday March 15th, Wednesday March 17th and Friday March 19th, the allocution should have been Monday, March 22nd.
