A sad example of confirmation bias affecting journalism. He had his conclusion before the first camera rolled. Of the thousands of people who attend the show each year the obnoxious Sweeney managed to find but a handful who fitted his idea of a 'weekend' Nazi. He should have looked at those wearing uniforms other than German to find more. His bias prevented that. Those who were caught didn't want to listen to those of us who had seen through the screen that was being sold. The 5 minutes of fame was more enchanting than the prospect of being made to look foolish. The late hour of many of the 'interviews', actually hidden camera shot conversations, didn't raise suspicions for most, I guess the beer tent is the place to root out any prejudice.
