Great plot, great acting
muratoranmo26 February 2023
Lot's of twists and turns really kept me on my toes. Definitely wasn't what I was expecting. Actors such as Ed Allenby really added to the quality of the movie, his acting and ability to switch characters was interesting to say the least, not to mention others such as Sophie Juge who contributed masively to the overall throughout. Definitely a movie to watch, highly recommended. A bigger budget with even more time for given to the various actors and scenes would have been even better. Nonetheless, really enjoyed it and will be keeping tabs on other movies produced by the team. Keep up the good work.

Hilariously brilliant!

A hilariously brilliant movie from start to finish! Very entertaining with a great cast and suspenseful story that will have you gripped on the edge of your seat. An exciting story with thrilling adventure that climaxes into a twist that I dare not spoil. But ultimately a comedy and at times will have you rolling on the floor laughing. It's also very cleverly put together. Having watched it a second time I noticed many little things that give clues as to what is actually going on, that you might miss the first time round. I highly recommend this as a must watch movie. Just great all round fun for all the family.

Part thriller, part comedy, all enjoyable

Warning: Spoilers
Sometimes, a low-budget picture rears up and slaps you in the face. Johnny Twoshoes is one of those pictures. I wasn't sure what to expect at the beginning: We get a teaser of the film's thriller aspect before we're thrown into what appears to be an office rom-com. This movie blew me away soon thereafter as the plot became more convoluted and we learned more about Johnny and the women who love him. Ed Allenby did a fantastic job playing multiple characters with multiple distinct accents and speech patterns. I haven't seen such a compelling performance of multiple personalities since Tatiana Maslany in Orphan Black. The thriller aspects make one quiver with anticipation, it's pacing almost Hitchcockian. The camera work was at once classic and modern, showing a skillful eye behind the camera. If you watch one comedic mystery this year, make it Johnny Twoshoes.
