- Chuck Bass: [to Blair] I did the most dangerous thing I could when I said I love you, and it was worth it. If I got through my fear for you, you can get through yours for me. You have until tomorrow to decide.
- Blair Waldorf: What?
- Chuck Bass: We're never going to be safe. So are you brave enough or aren't you? I'll be waiting at the top of the Empire State Building.
- Blair Waldorf: You can't Affair to Remember me.
- Chuck Bass: If you're not there tomorrow, at 7:01, I'm closing my heart to you forever.
- Blair Waldorf: Well, I won't be there.
- Chuck Bass: [on the phone with Jenny] And why are you whispering? If it's a seduction technique, don't bother.
- Jenny Humphrey: Ew. You wish.
- Gossip Girl: Be careful - once darkness descends true natures emerge and everything's a fair game. Until morning.
- Chuck Bass: I'm sorry your new beau had to abandon our mission.
- Blair Waldorf: Oh, he had a dinner with his rugby team.
- Chuck Bass: How homoerotic.
- Lily van der Woodser: [to Eric] Well, you know, after five marriages, the last thing I want to do is put you and Serena through another divorce.
- Eric van der Woodsen: It might sound cold, but they do get easier.
- Lily van der Woodser: Rufus is different, you know? He's been like a father to you.
- Eric van der Woodsen: And I-I love him. But if you think he cheated on you, you can't stay with him because of me. You have to stay with him because you still love him and because you think you guys can work through this. It doesn't matter who you end up with as long as you're still here.
- Serena van der Woodsen: [to Dan] Thanks for coming with me. I know this was a complicated one for you.
- Dan Humphrey: When are things not complicated with Serena Van Der Woodsen?
- Blair Waldorf: [to Jenny & Chuck] The two of you here together? Please tell me there's an explanation that doesn't involve the apocalypse.
- Chuck Bass: We come in peace and with a purpose.
- Blair Waldorf: What's going on? You haven't lusted after a Louboutin all morning.
- Serena van der Woodsen: I just have to get home.
- Blair Waldorf: Is it Lily?
- Serena van der Woodsen: I think Rufus cheated on her.
- Blair Waldorf: Oh, my God, I'm so sorry. I didn't know they even had groupies that old.
- Jenny Humphrey: [on phone] Okay, so what's next?
- Chuck Bass: The mission... requires an expert. Someone... highly trained in the art of... extorting information.
- Jenny Humphrey: You're not seriously gonna use this to try to get back with Blair?
- Chuck Bass: My... priority is the truth. She's the one who can expose it.
- Jenny Humphrey: And you'll take advantage of that to make sure she doesn't move on. All right, I get it.
- Chuck Bass: Let's just hope she's willing to make herself available. Meet me at the Waldorf's.
- Jenny Humphrey: Wait, I'm...
- [he ends the call]
- Jenny Humphrey: grounded.
- Serena van der Woodsen: What are you doing here?
- [coldly:]
- Serena van der Woodsen: No pills to steal in Brooklyn?
- Jenny Humphrey: I actually came by to get a dress.
- [hides the envelope]
- Jenny Humphrey: If you haven't destroyed them all already.
- Serena van der Woodsen: I have no interest in your wannabe Watanabe. And I'm sure you saw your stuff by the front. And last time I checked, dresses weren't in the kitchen near my Mom's medicine.
- Jenny Humphrey: Do you even know what your Dad's prescribing her?
- Serena van der Woodsen: Probably something with high street value or you wouldn't be interested.
- Jenny Humphrey: If you could just stop hating me for one second you'd actually see I was trying to help you.
- Serena van der Woodsen: Yeah, I know you and your Dad has done wonderful things for the van der Woodsens.
- Jenny Humphrey: Like it's been such a banner year for the Humphreys? I would give it *all* back, the clothes, the parties, the limo rides, just for one day that felt normal.
- Serena van der Woodsen: Then why are you still here?
- Jenny Humphrey: [shakes her head] You're right. Nothing would make me happier than to go back to Brooklyn forever.
- Chuck Bass: As if watching Audrey Hepburn movies isn't manhood-shriveling enough, now I have to talk about my feelings.
