Neal finally brokers a deal to get access to the music box, on condition he can meet the thief without his ankle device. While hoping to pull that off, the FBI loans him out to rising FBI star Kimberly Rice of Kidnapping, whom Peter rightly mistrusts as a ruthless career bitch. She practically ignores Neal's consultant input, her real angle being to offer 'a meeting with Neal' as ransom for Lindsay, the kidnapped teenage daughter of tycoon Gless (whom Neal conned years earlier). As Peter feared, Neal is taken by the kidnapper, a vindictive former 'colleague' named Ryan Wilkes, who forces Neal to do the dirty work in a new crime. Peter and Mozzie join together to find and save both Neal and Lindsay.
