Torres meets Cal and Gillian and shows a distress call from her half-sister, who is inmate of a juvenile detention institution, the Covington Youth Center. Cal and Gillian learn that Torres has a younger half-sister named Ava that is a delinquent and liar. They meet Deputy Warden Lamb and Dr. Dave Burns and they say that Ava is isolated in a cell. However, Cal and Torres force Lamb and interview Ava. The facility is surrounded by the police, since Ava's best friend Marley was found pregnant and dead. Now, Cal and Dr. Foster investigate who might have killed Marley and why.
