  Black Adam : [putting him down]  Speak, sorcerer. But your words had best please me.

  Dr. Sivana : We share common enemies, great one. The wizard Shazam and his new champion, Captain Marvel.

  Dr. Sivana : Yes. But if we work together, we can defeat them both.

  [as he aims a satellite and fires it, the lightning travels through space] 

  Black Adam : [being struck]  After languishing in emptiness for 5,000 years, could it be?

  Dr. Sivana : Now, quiet, kiddies, daddy's working.

• WHIZ Reporter : This is ace reporter Tom Tyler with breaking news. Fawcett City is once again terrorized by the evil Dr. Sivana, who appears to be connecting some type of equipment to the WHIZ radio tower.

  Dr. Sivana : [as police cars pull up]  Thaddeus Jr., Georgia. Teach those fools some manners, kids.

  Thaddeus Sivana Jr. : Leave it to us, Pops.

  Georgia Sivana : Right behind you, Junior.

  [they fire green laser beams at a SWAT team, which freezes them in place] 

  WHIZ Reporter : This is terrible. The villains are zapping our brave police and firefighters with some kind of fiendish paralyzer ray.

  [he gets zapped, too] 

  Dr. Sivana : [taking his microphone]  Citizens of the Earth, this is Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. I will use this radio antenna to polarize Earth's ionosphere and thus silence all wireless communication everywhere. No more satellites, no radio or television, no telephones. Modern society will plunge into chaos.

  Batman : [ejecting from the Batplane]  This experiment in terror is over, Dr. Sivana.

  Dr. Sivana : [fighting him off]  That masked peddler is interfering with my plan.

  Georgia Sivana : That bat-blockhead doesn't stand a chance against our super-science.

  Dr. Sivana : No one can stop me this time. Not even the world's mightiest mortal, Captain Marvel.

• Captain Marvel : Playtime's over, Dr. Sivana.

  Dr. Sivana : Try and stop me, you big red cheese.

  Captain Marvel : Whatever your twisted game is, you won't win.

  Dr. Sivana : [turning on a machine, it captures Marvel in an energy cage]  Mind over might, you brainless boob.

  Captain Marvel : Not wide enough for Captain Marvel, but Billy Batson could make it. Shazam!

  [nothing happens] 

  Captain Marvel : The antenna must have acted as a lightning rod, grounding it before it could reach me.

  Dr. Sivana : [with a maniacal laugh]  Success! My evil ruse has worked. Come, my children, our work here is finished.

• Shazam the Wizard : Billy Batson. And you've brought a friend, I see. Have you come seeking the guidance of an old wizard?

  Billy Batson : Yes. What can you tell us about a man called Teth-Adam?

  Shazam the Wizard : Teth-Adam is a name I had hoped never to hear again.

  Billy Batson : He was a champion, like me.

  Shazam the Wizard : A champion, yes. But not like you, young Billy. Not like you at all. Thousands of years ago in ancient Egypt, I had decided to pass on my powers to a worthy man. I picked Teth-Adam, whose soul I thought was pure and true. But the power corrupted him. He became known as Black Adam, and he decided that he alone should rule the world. I could not overcome him, so I banished him to the furthest star in the sky. If Black Adam has returned, the world is in great danger, for he has all the same powers as Captain Marvel.

  Black Adam : [having followed Batman and Billy]  The same powers and more.

  Dr. Sivana : The boy needs to be more careful.

  Georgia Sivana : [having earlier expressed an attraction to Marvel]  What? That little runt is Captain Marvel? Gross.

• Black Adam : Pretending defeat at the hands of that usurper and his mortal lackey. This is intolerable!

  Dr. Sivana : A necessary bit of theater, mighty one, if we are to achieve our ultimate goal.

  Black Adam : Your plan had better work, little man.

• Dr. Sivana : Yes. I can feel the power. Now I will be the champion.

  Black Adam : You? You are no champion, mortal scum. You used me to...

  Dr. Sivana : [unleashing lightning power from a bottle]  Now who's the fool, you big oaf?

  Captain Marvel : Adam!

  [landing next to him] 

  Captain Marvel : Sivana, you fiend, what have you done to him?

  Dr. Sivana : Simply used your own mystic lightning to restore Adam to his mortal form. But since he had remained in his superhuman form for so long, his body aged thousands of years all at once.

  Captain Marvel : All the lies and betrayal for this? Why?

  Dr. Sivana : I could explain, but why don't I just show you? Shazam!

  [he becomes a superhuman] 

  Dr. Sivana : From now on, call me Captain Sivana.

  [tackling him and landing punches] 

  Dr. Sivana : This is what I've been waiting for. The power to destroy Captain Marvel.
