- Carl Montclaire is unpopular and very, very unlucky. That is also why he is a perfect challenge for Porter Jackson, a young angel sent from above. Porter is an A.I.T. (Angel In Training), and Carl is his exam assignment. If he pulls it off, he gets angel wings and a real halo, and his mission is to make Carl the most popular guy in his high school, Bennett High. First step is trying to win a basketball one-on-one match against the captain on the school team.—The Norwegian Rocker
- In an attempt to earn his angel wings Porter Jackson gets sent to earth to help Carl Montclaire become the most popular kid at Bennett High. Porter's first attempt to make Carl cool is to sign Carl up for a basketball shoot out against the schools sports star and biggest bully, Serge. When Carl doesn't do so well, Porter uses his angel magic to help him out, but when Dr. Cassabi notices, he revokes Porter's powers and Carl is left to win the basketball shoot out on his own!
