Amazing performance by shobana as ACP pavithra, a daring and dashing police officer. She excelled in fight scenes and her attitude as a police officer is a treat to watch. She is the strongest character in the movie and her expressions are killing in many scenes. The movie has family storyline but shobana's intense performance elevated it. Vinod kumar, bhanu chandar also did their jobs well. Songs are nice and well placed. Action scenes are well choreographed especially the one which shobana fights bunch of the goons in a deserted area. She beat the hell of out them :P. Overall good movie with strong social message which is still relevant.
