"Fake Dave" supposedly stole "Real Dave"'s work uniform to infiltrate HPD. But the actor portraying "Real Dave" looks a bit larger than "Fake Dave". The uniform should have been much baggier on "Fake Dave".
Shammy is a part of the family, but there is no explanation as to why he isn't there having Christmas with them.
