What a shame!

Very poor acting and it was obviously well too rehearsed! It just doesn't come across as a real story at all unfortunately and I came to this conclusion within watching only half of the first episode.. its a real shame really as I think it could have been a really good series if the acting was better and came across less rehearsed.. It's hard to get sucked into the program and enjoy it when all you can think about is how bad the acting is rather than trying to figure out the mystery of what happened to Molly, that just shows how poor it is to me.. I must say, it made me cringe and laugh a few times due to the bad acting.. Without ruining anything, all I will say is, the storm out of a family member and the male model hahahaha so so sooo bad!!

On a positive, I will say though that I really liked how it started.. I thought it was a good and interesting idea on each episode starting with each individual and how each episode explained their version of events, background and why they believed they killed Molly.. The story itself was also really intriguing (some of it a little bit far fetch) and I think a lot could have been done with it and that it just could have been a thousand times better!

The main thing that ruined it for me was the terrible acting.

Crap

Warning: Spoilers
If I could leave no stars, I would. Not only is there no talent but it looks like if was filmed with Imovie. I cannot believe I wasted my hard earned money on 1:40 minutes absolute nonsense!!

None of the cast can act, it feels like I'm watching a GCSE drama performance. 😡👿

However I have to say it was filmed in a nice area and had some very cinematic shots such as the bloody scarf. The angry male model with the beard was my favourite part of this show.

The " dramatic" scenes were hardly dramatic at all and the entire time watching I could do nothing but laugh at how foolish it is ( and nearly fell asleep)

Overall, total waste. 🤡

Unbelievably boring

Really poor acting, boring accounts. The first episode was the best one and it really went downhill from there. Skipped to the last five minutes of the last episode to avoid suffering through several hours and am really glad I did.

Each episode is a personal account of why a particular person thought he or she was responsible for the murder of the victim. Some actors were better than others but none of them were great. The worst one was probably the detective in charge of the murder investigation. He was unbearable to watch. Thankfully he didn't get much screen time.

The only positive was the musical score. There is no way I'd rather wàtch this over a real crime documentary.

Terrible!

Warning: Spoilers
When you find yourself watching this alone but then laughing out loud, you know it's not a good sign. Acting is awful all round, and the bit where the sister gets cross and asks to stop the interview (in episode 5) is so bad and one example where I had to laugh.

Also, the guy she had the affair with is really rubbish and between him and the sister, I'm not sure anyone has any real acting experience. It's all just very naff.

I've given the review two stars - one for how bad it is and one for the laughs, but really it should never have been made.

It's all really, really bad, so don't bother unless you want a laugh. Which presumably wasn't the point of this docu-drama, but it really does verge into parody.

I liked it

I thought this was good! Had a few twists and turns, the episodes are only around 20mins long so easy to follow.

I liked the way we were given the back story from each character's perspective about Molly and, to me, it focused on what we never hear about when someone dies, its always 'they lit up a room' when in reality some people cause pain and destruction and Molly was no angel. Not saying she deserved what she got but I can empathise with most people who she interacted with.

I think the acting was spot on for the film, the photographer was good, I believed he was arrogant and predatory (he neither Denies nor confirms) but you can read between the lines.

All of the characters were believable to me, and they showed us, we are all human and capable of making choices in the moment that we have to live with for a lifetime. What would we do if in the same position??

I think some of the reviews are a bit harsh, but each to their own.

I killed some time

Crime drama told in a retrospective talking heads style. Each episode starts with someone confessing to the murder of 'Molly Monroe' and you then find out more about that character, why and how they feel responsible for her death.

Obviously not a true crime documentary as for one thing the character actors appear in dramatic reconstructions which would've been kind of tricky had they been real people who are now deceased.

A really neat idea and a few twists and turns (despite the fact they already confessed).

Some good subtle acting performances throughout and a decent score.

Also the episodes are all under 30 mins which is handy.
