Les p'tites femmes de Paris.

Nothing else but a strip-tease show filmed without any particular talent in a Paris nightclub. The girls, nice-looking by 1950 standards, disrobe completely but for a G-string.

There are no credits except for the title superimposed on a transparent film held by a gorgeous creature in a bikini at the beginning and, eight minutes fourteen seconds later, the word "end" written on the same prop by ... Pauline Carton!

And this is where the only originality of this modest short actually lies : the unexpected presence of Pauline Carton, the most famous sharp-tongued concierge (or domestic worker) of French theater and cinema, the ugly but funny lady Sacha Guitry could NOT do without.

As a result you can't help smiling when Carton, a comedian you would never expect to find in a such a context, standing in sharp contrast with the beauties on the stage, makes witty comments on each of the strippers.

A curiosity a film buff can skip but 'Bip... bip... bip... Ici Paris' is a rather entertaining undemanding short that they can add to their list without shame.
