loneliness in bitter shadows
Kirpianuscus4 January 2023
An old man , living alone. Modest dinner, scruffy , present in park, talking with a little girl and having her as guest in a tensioned chain of scenes.

The game with the viewer suppositions represents the basic virtue of this short film.

The second good point - the work of Zach Ball. In essence, his presence seems enought. But he builds, step by step, with precise art, his character, using each nuance of his behavior , gesture, word.

The end is more than the expected answer to the ball of doubts.

In transforms a presumed horror in melancolical confession of a man who looks for the lost happiness, in his manner , kicked by regrets and old sufferances.
