Louis Bayeh swears revenge on Benny Kassab's boys Shaka and Norm Korbage for shooting up his house.

Louis Bayeh (Steve Bastoni) vows to avenge the drive-by shooting of his house. Debbie Webb (Cheree Cassidy) becomes a whistleblower on police corruption, with shocking results. Kim Hollingsworth (Emma Booth) plans revenge on a police officer who betrayed her trust.

In episode five of Underbelly, Benny Kassab turns to Kings Cross detectives Jim Egan and Trevor Haken for assistance regarding the complications that ensue from the drive-by shooting of Louis Bayeh's house. An agreement is made: if Benny's lieutenants Shaka and Norm give themselves up at Bankstown Police Station, they'll simply get a "slap on the wrist" and instant bail. At first reluctant, the boys comply, rehearsing their story with Egan so Trevor can conduct the interview once they've got their stories straight. Determined to save face, Louis Bayeh uses his own police contacts to oppose bail, making Benny a liar in the eyes of his two lieutenants. Excited at the prospect of real police work, Debbie Webb accompanies Detective Senior Constable Eddie Gould to investigate a break and enter. Typically, Debbie is held at arm's length and instructed to complete the paperwork. Later she discovers the claimant was Eddie Gould's brother.

It was a set-up, an insurance scam and Debbie's signature is on the report. Debbie doesn't see an option and reports the incident, only to be told that police don't like whistleblowers cops that "dob in" other cops. Nothing happens to Eddie Gould, instead Debbie herself is reprimanded, banished to a useless taskforce. Out of sight, out of mind.

Hammer's ex-con affiliates drive a wedge between him and John Ibrahim by frequenting The Tunnel and proving to be less than ideal customers. In an effort to avoid Hammer's ex-con affiliates from destroying his business, John leases Illusions for Hammer.

Kim Hollingsworth discovers that her "boyfriend" police officer Dave is in fact married. Kim plans and executes revenge, telling him to make arrangements for his colleagues to attend a "lesbian extravaganza" that she has no intention of delivering.
