Harry takes a job as Cruise Director on luxury liner with Lucy as his assistant.
This is another of those episodes shot single-camera style, but it is MUCH more enjoyable than the Air Force academy/road trip shows of Season 2 or the airport chase episode from Season 1 that were filmed the same way. In fact, this is one of the best episodes of the season. It is elevated by the return of Vivian Vance, who surprises Lucy aboard the ship. Much of the humor comes from their battle for the attentions of the handsome Captain, played by Robert Alda (who memorably caused a rift between the ladies in THE LUCY SHOW's Season 2 episode "Lucy Goes to Art Class" -- a rare, good offering in a weak season of that series).
Gale Gordon appears in a disguise that makes him look like Colonel Sanders. It is actually one of the most convincing disguises in a series that often didn't bother to adhere to logic.
In a twist, the Captain turns out to be married. His wife is played by Jean Byron of THE PATTY DUKE SHOW. Part 1 ends with Harry and Viv going overboard. Part 2 isn't as enjoyable. 7/10.
