This film is an adaptation of a scene from the two-act play "Faeries, or Out the Other Side" by Colette Gunn-Graffy and Jasmine Woods; it captures the diametrically opposed stances of the two characters Áine and Christa. For Áine, the notion that they might *be* a faery opens up a sense of wisdom and connection that the "normal" world has never been able to afford them; for Christa, her lived experience has taught her that faeries are frightening and manipulative, and that only self-reliance can lead you safely through the world.
