Nice but not simple
I am a fan of this franchise. Loved TerT. Rudrapur's story is a bit complex to understand. Too many details, linkages b/w characters. You have to watch it without missing a word to get a hang of the story. Otherwise, it might get confusing. The songs aren't as good as TerT. My fav is Batashe Sporso. Alaap doesn't get a lot to do in the first season of Rudrapur. Hoping to see him more in action in the next season. I think the face-off between Alaap n Shanker will be great to watch. What'll be better is both teaming up against Rudrabhairav n HG. Not sure what the writer has in mind! Net net i liked it and looking fwd to the finale.

Naad's ending left much to be desired
The new characters did not get enough screen time to develop. Because of this, despite the two stories(Tansen's Tanpura and Rudrabinar Obhisaap) had different plots, they ended up having the same vibe. If Part 3 of this adventure comes, then there should be more focus on the new characters so that after a while, the audience does not get bored of seeing only Alap and Shruti. Just as in 'Rudrabinar Obhisaap', a story of Saaz and Naad should have been built alongside the adventure story of Shruti and Alap. Overall, the story was good, but it could have been better and the entire plot was unfolded in a very complicated way...

Very poor storyline
The storyline is very poor. Acting is not bad, but the story makes no sense at all! Most of the characters keep secrets from each other for no reason! The things could be sorted out a long ago if they talked among themselves.
What is this...
Main Character Alap is expression less guy. Comparatively side characters like Shruti and Naad are really natural. Storyline is worst, people are keeping secrets without any reason. One common mistake like any other Indian series is useless background music. The songs and singers are quite good, but with that much background music it kills actual ambience.

The storyline and visualization is supurb!! It even surpass Tansener Tanpura in some episodes.
Just the Songs
After Tansener Tanpura I was very excited about the sequel Rudrabinar obhishap. But the Joydeep Mukherjee directed series is just a disappointment. The series had potential but all had been wasted. Story idea was good but the screenplay was very poor. The music is the biggest positive of the series. Joy Sarkar just nailed it. Vikram Chaterjee and Sourav Das was the standout performers. The supporting cast was ok. The vfx was good. But nothing else is good. It's Boring Screenplay fails to gain your attraction. After a wonderful series like Tansener Tanpura this was not expected from the team. For me it is a waste of time.

Rudrabinar Obhisaap Season 2
Must Watch Web Series. A Brillant Classical Thriller. Specially Mentioned The Awesome Performance Of Saurav Das As Naad. & As Usual Daahing & Impressive Performance Of Vikram chatterjee As Alap. The Songs Of This Both Season Just Heart Touching.
