This was full of different mini story lines that all came together in the end. There were times I thought I knew how it was going to play out (like the typical Hallmark shows) but was wrong... and was I glad because it was better than I thought. It was a bummer that Grace wasn't there. She was my favorite of the 2 sisters but I understand that scheduling conflicts happen especially with such a large gap in seasons. It was lovely to see Lori on the show but I do wish they would have elaborated more on her character and the reasoning of why she was there for so long and if she is staying. Loved how they brought Santa into the show and kept it from devastating a child if they saw the show. So many Hallmark movies the last couple years make comments or shows things to where I can't trust to sit and watch with my kids. LOVE that GAC is keeping it wholesome for the whole family. And speaking of family... kudos on standing WITH Lori GAC! When a family member does something wrong... they are still family. We stand beside family, let them take their punishment and continue to be there for them. I never liked that a network that claimed to be all about family just dropped one of their own at the first sign of trouble. That's not how you treat family.
I am looking forward to see what GAC and When Hope Calls has in store next!
PS... the way they brought Jack back in was kind of weird and could have totally been left out... but it wasn't as bad as one of the other reviewers is letting on.
