Excellent Documentary about the Tibetan Exile Community
Superb documentary, beautifully describing and illustrating the history and present situation of the Tibetan Exile Community. The subject is treated with sensitivity and clarity, using compelling footage and insightful interviews to great effect. Anyone wishing to gain a good basic understanding of the forced exile of the Dalai Lama and those who followed him, should see this film. As such, it would benefit academic courses on the subject. I found it to be both moving and informative, a rare combination and one which I believe would appeal to a broad-based audience. I highly recommend this film and hope that it helps to generate sympathy and world-wide help for the Tibetan culture in exile.
