Canadian twins Ken and Colin, who have a Bengali father and a Norwegian mother, unravel a shocking history when they venture to a family reunion in Northern Norway with their mother. The identical twins, who have very different personalities, wonder why their Norwegian grandfather refused to talk about his childhood in the North after moving to Southern Norway as a young man. And, why did their grandfather never return to his home in the North? In the end, the twins and their mother discover the truth is both liberating and heartbreaking.
