Sublime

A colleague of mine showed me this promotional film as it seemed to be doing the rounds of Sydney businesses. After several viewings, I was just staggered. What an amazing display of talent from both sides of the camera. Firstly, exquisitely directed, shot and edited. This is adrenaline charged film making from a group of highly skilled individuals; unsurpassed mastery of their collective crafts. Secondly, the on-screen brilliance from Bren Foster and action film veteran Richard Norton is breath-taking. Where has Bren Foster been hiding? This young man is incredible. Chiselled features and physical skill beyond that of us mere mortals. I have no doubt that Mr. Foster will emerge soon as a huge star and I have been privileged to witness the beginning of a brilliant career.

Great Fight choreography

Richard Norton is so great in this movie and the way the whole thing has been directed simply mind blowing. The special effects are the same used on Richard films El Pistolero Del diablo and Among Dead Men but are still very impressive. This film also show great skills in editing and structure coming from this independent team.Ben Forster did the best that he can to match the charismatic action star that was once Richard Norton.Man of blood would make a great martial art film when this come to realization bringing back the golden era of great fight films made in Hong Kong and Australia in the late 80.The secluded environment where the fight evolve are a great idea that i validate for that kind of genre. Overall this short film has a lot of potential and can do a lot of hurting into the UFC based films.

Unbelievable action

This short film is actually several fight scenes which promote Bren Foster and Richard Norton. The film was screened in Los Angeles at the Action on Film Festival in 2009 and the two performers were nominated for awards. What an astonishing viewing experience. Bren Foster's skills are just amazing and Richard Norton shows why he is one of the greats in the genre. It is brilliantly shot and edited with some effective visual effects. There are also some terrific graphics and the sound is epic. I did want to see more which I figure was the film makers aim. One sequence that does stand out is a fight, both by hand and then gun in a confined space between Foster and Norton. Truly incredible.
