Climax fills your heart!!
singh-lalu50314 January 2024
It's a routine mass entertainer done well, with drama, emotions and well placed laughs. But we all know that's not all, and that's never the focus of the movie. It's HANUMAN, and movie ensure that the audience don't loose focus of it with great cinematography, character and place namings, symbolism, and ofcourse the story arc itself.

The Introductory piece of the movie is done in Rajumauli Style ( for the sake of familiarity) and is done nearly as well. You could always see that the VFX team never had enough budget to go all guns blazing. But at the same time, it was evident that they brought all the sincerity and intent to make the best of the available resources and almost always got the basics of VFX right, be it underwater scene, or others.

Post the Introductory scene, it takes you through a storyline where arguably it helps to the submit to the director's way of storytelling. In no way, director stretches the style of storytelling and uses extreme exaggeration that we are not already accustomed to Superhero cinema ( in India and beyond) but seeing it being done by not some A listers might through viewers off a little.

And post that movie completely submerged itself into a well crafted masala entertainer. Who is the lead before he gets power, how he gets power, how it changes the small villege, how the antagonist and protagonist meets makes the main plot, with his love story, and villege political dynamics makes up the secondary plot on which the rest of movie revolves.

But what gets you the screaming on top of your lungs Jai Shri Ram at the end of the movie is the climax that fills you with pride and anticipation of what is going to come next.

I watched it in Hindi and the dubbing was pretty neat. A good indicator of that is always how the comedy scenes are dubbed and it was done well to get the hearty laugh out of the audience.

WATCH IT TODAY.

Jai Shri Ram, Jai Hanuman, Jai Bhajarang bali 🙏🙏🙏🙏
syeleri12 January 2024
Words fall short to express my gratitude towarrds director Prashanth Verma, lead actor Teja Sajja, towards multiple BGM composers, cinematographer and VFX team for achieve such a epic output of a movie with "Hanuman".

There were several moments where everyone in theater jumped out of their sets to screem Jai Shri Ram, Jai Hanuman, Jai Bhajarang bali and more. The amalgamation of a simple story into the grand itihaasa of Bharathavarsha is a stroke of genius by the master story teller director Prashanth Verma. Complimenting that is the Solid VFX generated. Binding all this is the mind boggling background story. It works every time in the movie.

The last 40mins is where the movie peaks. It goes higher higher and higher, leaving everyone with goosebumps when we reach the end credits. People were Screeming Jai Shri Ram all the way, the excitement even carried outside the theater as well.

I am still wondering with a minimal budge of 55crores, this team was able to make such a grand movie, what would they with budget which SS Rajamouli gets.

#HanuMan the best India Superhero film🔥
uddantinagaraju14 January 2024
No doubt Hanu Man so far the best Indian superhero film ever created. This is what we call direction. All credit belongs to movie director Prasanth Varma. His vision, narrative, and direction elevated the film to the next level. With just a 30 crore budget, he developed this type of masterpiece; think if he had a larger budget, he could definitely make bigger films. Each scene gives you goosebumps 🔥🔥. Suspense, thriller, comedy, action, and whatever else we desire in a movie, we can find it. The background music elevated the film to a new level. Just watch it in a nice theatre, and you will absolutely love it. Our country has numerous stories (itihasa) to tell, but no one is able to create decent films based on our cultural heritage. However, this film demonstrated that it is possible to make wonderful films with our itihasa. #HanuMan #goosebumps. There are no words to compliment this film. Just watch it...💥.

Goosebumps
avgreviewer12 January 2024
This movie is a peak perfection movie every scene is too good and the detailing to every scene is top notch by #prashanthvarma #prashanthcinematicuniverse.

The VFX is too good for the budget they have for this movie.

The Casting is also good and Teja Sajja Acted very well and the villain played his role very well.

This movie has everything you can ask for so many action scenes and the way the characters have developed is too good you won't get bored watching and there are some comedy scenes in the movie and there are some emotional moments in the film and the climax is too good you just chant #JaiSreeRam #JaiHanuman all the way during this movie.

This is the kind of movie to watch on bigger screen without any doubt.

This is a Blockbuster movie for sure.

Waiting for #JaiHanuMan in cinemas soon.

Goosebumps movie
tsaikiran-7010212 January 2024
The opening segment acknowledges the influence of Marvel and DC superhero films through the character of a boy who hopes that he, too, will be a spiderman after being bitten by a spider. However, this sets the stage for a superpower-thirsty maniac Michael (Vinay Rai) who goes by the moniker M. While M's world is high on technology and the city's night skyline is dotted with high rises, Prasanth Varma contrasts this with the town of Anjanadri, flanked by mountains, valleys and a larger-than-life rock carving of Hanuman.

The underdog in this story is Hanumanthu (Teja Sajja), a happy go lucky guy who lives with his sister Anjamma (Varalaxmi Sarathkumar). Anjanadri is set in the parallel world of Akhand Bharath whose inhabitants range from people who have been untouched by urbanisation to a monkey named Koti (with voiceover by Ravi Teja). Sweeping drone shots show a picturesque Anjanadri that is reminiscent of a few fictional kingdoms we have seen in superhero films. The large Hanuman rock carving, at a later point, is effectively used to stage heroic moments, in a nod to Rajamouli's Baahubali.

Multiple Goosebumps !!
chavda-hitesh-n16 January 2024
Strap in for a cinematic epic that'll send goosebumps erupting like volcanic fissures! Hanuman (2023) isn't your dusty textbook rehash - it's a genre-bending explosion that smashes ancient legends with modern twists. Teja Sajja electrifies as Hanumanthu, a playful jester who stumbles upon powers that would make Superman sweat. His journey from slacker to epic hero is as thrilling as it is relatable, and you'll find yourself cheering him on as he grapples with destiny and discovers his inner magic.

The visual effects, while not Hollywood-level, are a triumph for the reported budget. From the lush landscapes of Anjanadri to the fantastical underwater sequences, Hanuman's world is brought to life with convincing CGI.

Watch it in Theatres
best-review12 January 2024
The film boasts a good storyline with a well-executed Indian superhero flair. Character development is commendable, particularly with the endearing Hanu Man, though the Super villain character could have been more captivating.

Teja Sajja shines in his role, delivering a fantastic performance.

Getup Seenu's look and performance is fantastic. Satya is fun.

Vara Lakshmi portrays her character decently, although her articulation disorder may be distracting; considering this, a dubbing artist might enhance the overall experience.

Vinay Rai as the antagonist is visually fitting, and his performance is nothing short of terrific.

Amrita Iyer, resembling a side character from Telugu TV serials, gives a lackluster performance, suggesting she may not be best suited for the big screen.

The supporting cast performs well, and the film benefits from appealing locations. While the cinematography is pleasing, sets and costumes, while good, lack a certain naturalness.

The music is fitting, and the VFX, given the budget constraints, is commendable, even if not groundbreaking.

Action choreography could have been better.

Some mythological elements might not be entirely convincing, but they are forgivable.

Overall, it's a theatrical watch worth considering.

sunnyiteng12 January 2024
I am glad that i was the audience of this movie. Literally the mid and ending part gives you goosebumps and starting 15 minutes is little slow but when it takes off it doesn't stop. You will enjoy each seconds of the movie and not at all blink your eye after interval. From Kids to Old age people everyone should watch this wonderful movie. Surely i will go again as my family members are also excited after my experience. Please don't mias this movie and watch with your loved one family and friends. Lead actor tried his best in role. Abd overall a great movie to watch some action scenes and the next part will surely more exciting than this as it gives a strong story line for the next movie which will come in 2025.

Hanu Man successfully merges elements of mythology with contemporary action, offering a unique viewing experience in Indian cinema.
finnalex12 January 2024
Director PrasanthVarma crafts a solid entertainer... HanuMan is ambitious and exciting - packs drama, emotions, VFX and mythology skilfully... Loaded with goosebump moments + extraordinary finale... Recommended. The VFX plays a pivotal part, garnishing the goings-on wonderfully, but not once does it overpower the story... Dubbing of all principal characters is appropriate... Only hiccup, the run time could've been shorter.

With solid storytelling, impressive visuals, and strong performances, the film successfully merges elements of mythology with contemporary action, offering a unique viewing experience in Indian cinema.

Ever since, we were kids, for us, Hanuman was not just a deity but a superhero in his own right, who is a testament to his deep devotion, loyalty, and dedication to Lord Rama, making him a revered figure in Hindu mythology for his selfless service and unwavering commitment to dharma (righteousness). And, the film Hanu Man amplifies that sentiment, making it a delightful experience for audiences of all ages."Wherever there is righteousness, Lord Hanuman prevails."

MUST SEE MOVIE,GLORY TO HANUMAN 🚩
gaurhimanshu-9780612 January 2024
Well this was in my opinion one of the best movie to start the year, this movie shows if you have potential story and mix it with Great Indian Mythology you can get to greater heights.

I am not an VFX or CGI expert but seeing the budget of this movie and of Adipurush it's about 1/20 time, but they had no intention of giving good movie although they had the story which almost everyone knows This movie shows you can deliver quality and all of the kudos the prashant Verma sir who seamlessly mixed the Mythology and superhero genre, Last Hanuman shots were literally goosebumps🔥May this universe expands more and we get our beloved HANUMAN charging the Superhero army and slaying the villains. The movie has story, fun, action and Mythology, also kudos to BGM creators🎶🙏 In the last JAI JAI SHREE RAM🚩🚩

Epic Reimagined: 'Hanu Man' - A New Dawn in Superhero Storytelling
HawrryB20 January 2024
'Hanu Man 2024', a PrasanthVarma masterpiece that seamlessly blends mythology with modern superhero elements. A simple yet engaging plot, set in the mythical Anjanadri, captivates with its good vs evil narrative. The film stands out for its unique blend of Indian lore and contemporary superhero saga, reminiscent of 'Minnal Murali's' groundbreaking approach.

Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer lead a stellar cast, delivering performances that add depth to their characters. Ravi Teja's voiceover for the monkey character injects a fun element, enhancing the film's appeal. The dialogues strike a balance between wit and wisdom, driving the plot and providing context.

Cinematography by Dasaradhi Sivendra is a visual treat, creating a vibrant and dynamic world. The soundtrack, with traditional chants, elevates the narrative, making every scene resonate more deeply.

Varma's direction is the film's linchpin, balancing action, emotion, and humor with precision. His vision for a film that pays homage to Indian mythology while appealing to a global audience is executed passionately.

'Hanu Man' transcends typical superhero boundaries, offering a culturally rich narrative. It respects its roots while embracing new storytelling methods, setting a new benchmark for Indian superhero films.

However, the film is not without flaws. The scope feels limited, and the villain's reliance on technology contrasts sharply with the hero's mythological powers. Despite this, the CGI and action sequences are impressive.

Needed more of Hanuman Ji
SoumikBanerjee199617 March 2024
Having vision is necessary; yes, having ambition is critical too, but for a superhero origin story to properly work, it is imperative for us, the audience, to be able to empathise with the protagonist, to get behind his or her struggles, and to be supportive of the battles they are partaking in.

There should always be a sense of approval and acceptance regarding their actions as well as their decisions, which were either taken with intent or impulsively. Without such sentiments, it gets rather difficult to build a connection, let alone genuinely care for them or for their victories (and defeats), and that's exactly what happened in my viewing.

Despite several attempts from my end, I couldn't side with Hanumanth, our protagonist. The same goes for the villain, who had an interesting beginning to his story but gradually turned into an overambitious, extremely generic antagonist.

And let us just ignore the whole subplot involving Meenakshi, the romantic interest. It was a complete waste, doing more harm than good to the script. The only characters who ignited some interest were the elder sister, Anjamma, and none other than Lord Hanuman himself.

Not gonna lie, the five minutes in the ending were the highlight for me. If that was any indication of what to come next in this series, I'll be eagerly waiting and hoping for an improvised continuation.

P. S. Commendable visuals and CGI, albeit suffered for repetition.

Excellent Mindblown
bharath-3994812 January 2024
Go watch the movie MINDBLOWN Story , Acting , Direction , Character Building , Emotions and VFX with frugal budget couple with historical facts and our beloved HANUMAN makes this movie watch multiple times.

The new G. O. A. T of Telugu industry is Prashant Varma.

Excellent story telling blending emotion, comedy and action together with arc for each character including Villain is commendable. There is a backstory of Villain which gives us reasons and motivations for his flawed character is shown which is refreshing unlike regular villains who are like buggy robots on mission to destroy everything so cruelly to elevate hero

Interval Bang is BEST , and Climax you will definitely Hoot , cheer , cry and clap with joy

This is a wholesome entertainment catered for masses , classes , kids , grown ups and whole family can watch

Don't miss this masterpiece in theatres where it 100 times worth to watch than on OTT.

Goosebumps movie I loved it
debu-2137615 January 2024
This movie is everything that adipurush couldn't be man just a give it a chance will blow u away!!The characters and storybuilding is so greast with the visuals in 30ce bugget man blows u offf .Such a mastersfull execution by the Director.. The director's masterful execution seems to have left a lasting impact on you.

Exhilarating movie with a blend of localized (village) touch and a simple story, but displayed with a big heart. Director Prashanth Verma has shown rough edges in the first half as you feel it's a typical age old movie with some exciting moments in between. Interval stops with a bang! Second half races with full steam and picks up the pace where he portrays wanna be baddie superhero vs the real superhero. VFX is good given the limited budget.

Mind blowing movie. Jay shree ram 🙏
mananbhatt199114 January 2024
One of the best movie I have seen in recent times after Karthikeyan2. Liked the story, music, vfx and humor. Ignore few dull elements for a while but overall fully enjoyable. Last 15 minutes of climax is literally goosebumps moment. This is beyond expectations and must watch, everyone will be having more proud and deeper faith in our Sanatana dharma. First half mostly contains humor and context setting. A villain is shown with limited time and could have been more focused. However, overall it's a full entertaining movie and shall be enjoyable more in theatres than ott platforms. Have a great time with family and enjoy this HanuMan.

PREDICTABLE BUT IT REDEEMS ITSELF.
magadalwarmayur12 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I went into "Hanu Man 2024" with a mix of excitement and trepidation. I'm a big fan of superhero movies, and the idea of a Telugu film taking on the epic tale of Hanuman was intriguing. However, I also knew that director Prasanth Varma had a bit of a hit-or-miss track record.

So, what did I think? Well, it was a mixed bag.

On the one hand, the film is visually stunning. The special effects are top-notch, and the action sequences are truly exhilarating. The climax, in particular, is a real showstopper.

On the other hand, the story is a bit predictable. It follows the well-worn superhero tropes of a good guy versus a bad guy, with a few twists and turns thrown in for good measure. There's not much here that you haven't seen before.

Also, the pacing is a bit off in the first half. It takes a while for the film to get going, and there are a few too many slow-motion scenes. I found myself checking my watch a couple of times.

However, the film does pick up in the second half, and the Hanuman showcase is definitely worth the price of admission. It's a powerful and visually stunning sequence that will leave you in awe.

Overall, "Hanu Man 2024" is a decent superhero film with some impressive visuals and action sequences. However, the predictable story and pacing issues hold it back from being something truly great. If you're looking for a fun popcorn flick, this is worth checking out. But if you're looking for something more groundbreaking, you might want to look elsewhere.

**Here are some specific things I liked and disliked about the film:**

* **Liked:** The visuals, the action sequences, the Hanuman showcase * **Disliked:** The predictable story, the pacing in the first half, the lack of emotional depth

**Would I recommend it?**

If you're a fan of superhero movies and don't mind a bit of predictability, then I would say go for it. But if you're looking for something more original or emotionally resonant, you might want to skip it.

A MUST WATCH MOVIE!!!
thatsmeatomic15 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Good part;
  • The best moment is when Shree Hanuman arrives
  • Lot of goosebump moment whenever we see Shree Hanuman Power on the screen
  • The Background music or BGM is awesome
  • The fighting scenes is good
  • Overall the CGI is good. In few scenes you might feel weak CGI but considering the low budget, it's ok.

  • It justify the title of the movie Hanu Man. The power has some limitations, like it can only be use in the day time and with no cloud. The Sun is the activator. It makes the story more intresting and build the basic foundation of a superhero movie concept.

Improvement part;
  • Should have focused more on the Villian story instead of same typical outdated south love story. And due to this, the story rushes quickly in the mid part to show Villian meeting with villagers and the Hero.

  • There is a power suit of the villian, but we don't know what exactly it is. They mention that it's stronger tha vibranium or equal to it, how on earth vibranium comes over here. They must have gave some focus or explanation to it because in the climax, this suit helped villian to go one-on-one with the hero who activated shree hanuman power. Even if it's 1% of actual power Shree Hanuman has but still.

Conclusion; Overall it's a must watch movie, just ignore the love story part and feel Shree Hanuman.

Nice to see a another great Indian superhero movie after Minnal Murali.

They have already hinted the sequel of the movie.

And this franchise has lot of potential. There is a war coming.

But We have Lord Shree Hanuman who have awaken now.

🙏🏻🙏🏻Jai Shree Ram 🙏🏻🙏🏻

maniteja9312 January 2024
Vfx of the movie at such low cost needs to be given a lot praise. It's a must watch movie. Last 40-45 minutes is hell of a ride. Goosebumps for sure.

Director has put his vision to the point in movie. Maybe with more budget he could have made in more grand way.

Positives- Direction Lead actors and villain vinay rai . Definitely predictable but villains all origin stories are predictable. But he has been showcased villain in a strong way Vfx Background score- soul of the movie Negatives First 15-20 minutes of the movie.

Second half first 20 minutes

It's a must watch movie for all my indian friends don't muss.

A Good build-up for a franchise but with poor execution...
shaikhirshad-4122316 January 2024
Director Prasanth Varma immensely followed his vision and clearly made a unique Indian superhero film with such a low budget is totally remarkable.

Talking about the film Movie starts off on a high note the buildup that director has given for Hanuman with a proper back story easily gets your attention and you'll hooked up right into it and even there are some great scenes which will definitely give you the superhero genre vibe.

But what lacks is that the execution in the middle of the film or you can say screenplay is very poor as compare to superhero genre it is very average in terms of screenplay format.

Too many unnecessary scenes with cringe dialogues makes the movie very basic.

I have watched it in hindi don't know about the original language but the dubbed version is very comedic and doesn't suit the movie environment much.

Movie could've been easily shortened by 15-20 mins and it can get more engaging in terms of story & screenplay.

Performance are amazing by all the lead ones specially the lead hero stands tall.

BGM & CGI is remarkable in such a low budget is a benchmark for high budget movies that even in low budget if you're vision is clear you can direct a good film.

All n all Hanu-man is a new experience with a taste of superhero factor if keep aside execution and stretched screenplay than this is definitely worth a try!!!!

Below average Superhero movie
vishwatej2867 February 2024
The story is very bare minimum average written. The only selling point for this story line is to use Lord Hanuman. Other than that it's just way below average 90's Superhero movie with minimum character and story depth. Screenplay is terrible. Some time cringe and cheesy. Most of the time it felt like we are watching some regional Soap Opera (TV serials), not a mainstream feature film. Each and every actor either doing Over the top acting or just bad acting. There is not a single decent supporting characters. Most of them are forgettable.

The cinematography is not good. Not sure why people are praising it. A movie should not look so clean that the makeup on the actors would be visible. For any movie there has to be a slight grain layer is added to look real and cinematic and colour grading also should be in cinematic. But this movie the Color palette look too obvious and saturated.

The Direction is very bad. The Slow motion is over used in the entire movie. There is not a single frame where the frame rate is used as normal (24 Frame P/S) which is standard for any movie. This one has either 60F P/S or 400 F P/S and more. This is just terrible way of directing. The Director really needs to learn how to make.

Considering the Budget constraints, few Shots of VFX are Good. But again the VFX needs an improvement. Some of the sequences are very visible that they using Green Screen. VFX for any movie it should be invisible.

Background score sounds ok but it was amplified so high in the entire movie that it irritates. Songs are just forgettable.

(+ve) very few VFX shots and efforts to make a superhero movie.

By the way this movie has no resemblance of hindu mythology or gods. It's just a superhero fantasy movie with some elements use of Lord Hanuman.

Hanu Man best Movie
mihirkhunt-5568314 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
You would, of course, imagine someone bulked up to be able to play a superhero possessing the superpowers of Lord Hanuman & that's where the maker's masterstroke, Teja Sajja, comes into play. Much like Abhimanyu Dassani in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota & Tovino Thomas in Minnal Murali, Teja Sajja is not your typical superhero who would flaunt his physique to eliminate the goons. He's more relatable, an ordinary person who enjoys the superpowers, and that's how his character is written. That comes across as an advantage for Teja as he nails the role, barring a few action choreography hiccups. Best Movie.

Hanuman where all can connect with spiritual entity
nikhilharnare14 January 2024
One the best climax have seen in spritual movie.. VFX acting dialogues direction. Everything was top notch.

Loaded with goosebump moments + extraordinary finale... Recommended. The VFX plays a pivotal part, garnishing the goings-on wonderfully, but not once does it.

The supporting cast, while not exceptional, manages to fulfill the requisite roles demanded by the narrative. Their performances, though not outstanding, suffice for the needs of the film. The climax, however, stands out as a well-executed sequence, setting the stage intriguingly for potential sequels.

In summary, the movie possesses commendable aspects, including a noteworthy climax and solid technical elements. However, the narrative's weaknesses, coupled with a less impactful hero and underwhelming comedic moments, prevent it from achieving its full potential. The groundwork laid in the climax for future sequels adds an intriguing layer to the overall cinematic experience.

We all can connect with Lord Hanumanji Jay Shri Ram.
