Worst production crew - Beats even GoT 🤠

I am in general a huge fan of this show as it showcases great queens and share a lot of important, as well as interesting, aspects of the LGBTQA+ community, but this episode is ought to be the worst rated episode in Drag Race history.

I never write reviews like this, usually I cannot be bothered, but I am steaming of how ridiculous this episode was. It shows how unprofessional producers can easily ruin an enjoyable show. The fact that a couple of episodes ago, you let the Countess slide (although her lipsync was weaker), because of her track record, to throw all of that out of the window to make sure a contestant who broke the rules, quite a serious rule even!!, advance instead of the queen with one of the best performances during a season ever. Keta should have been given the opportunity to fight in the finals due to her immense, hard work this season. The fact that you took that from her, I cannot wrap my head around that! And no hate to Vivaldi, although I believe she should have been eliminated right away, she's just an unfortunate soul to be used by production.

I truly hope the entire production crew is replaced after this fiasco. People say that all PR is good PR, but this is definitely not gonna be it. Holy s*** I'm mad y'all, I am never going to watch DR Holland again unless it is confirmed that production has been switched out. Thank you for reading, now, let's send some love to Keta!

Clownery, riggory, nepotism

Created an account just to vent about the riggory that was this episode. Never understood the point of fervently favoring the runway -which the contestants most probably had custom made for tons of money- but then again Keta's wasn't even half bad. First they kept Countess for "doing well" in the competition, then they punish Vivaldi's careless rule breaking by simply putting her in the bottom two -which she should've been anyway- she was upset only because she got caught and called out and now this. BUT NOT THIS! Why wasn't Keta given the "doing well" favouritism? Why didn't they do a top 4 like they did in season one despite that infamous horrible lip sync? The fact that one of these gals in question was Fred's make-up artist and the other, hairstylist from season one further frustrates me and leaves an extremely bad taste in my mouth. Instead of showing the audiences that these two were selected for their talent, we only saw a production who did their best to advance these queens no matter what and discrediting the work of queens such as Ivy and Keta in the process. Definitely competing with Down Under for the worst season of drag race.

How are you going to eliminate your frontrunner??? Especially when they weren't the worst in the challenge??? Vanessa was clearly the worst in the challenge, and Vivaldi was pretty one note. Keta WON that lipsync??? But even if she didn't why was the Countess allowed to stay based on her track record, but not Keta??? Why was Vivaldi not disqualified for cheating last episode and then kept for the finale??? Honestly I liked this season, but they made every wrong decision they could make for these last two episodes. And why the emphasis on runway this episode?? Didn't make any sense. Also they read Ivy the first episode for her white makeup not being white enough, but neither was Vanessa's this episode, but they still loved it. Keta should be in the finale and it's disservice to the integrity of this competition to have Vivaldi someone who cheated be in the finale.

What were they thinking? They just sent Keta home while she is leading the competition with 3 wins over Vivaldi who has cheated? This season is so ruined lol, if Fred is making all of these decisions, he should just resign.

Obvious riggory

We all know reality TV shows are scripted and produced to create an all-around pleasant experience for the viewer.

We love drama, a good storyline is needed for the whole thing to make sense and suspence is obviously welcome.

But this? This is a straight up bad episode. The judging was not consistent with other episodes. It was a fun time until it got so forced that the whole episode was ruined. It left such a bad aftertaste to see that the judging, which is kind of half of the episode, is made pointless by obvious riggory. It was really bad.

And again, all reality TV shows are overproduced and rigged, but when you see consistency and sense thrown out the window so hastily and cheaply, it destroys the whole episode.

Half the episode was good. The other half made it all bad. So yeah 1 out of 10.

The worst judging of any series

I lost all hope today. This has to be a joke. To think that top tier queens like Keta, Sederginne and Chelsea Boy last season, were eliminated in an unfair judging system just to push production favorites.

Terrible Judging

Keta was easily top 2 in almost every episode including this one. Vivialdi should be disqualified, and Vanessa was the worst performance and runway look this episode. I don't even care about the finale at all now.

At the beginning of episode, I was sure that Keta was going to win it all. I hoped they will do Candy Muse thing with her.

I just came here to see the ratings and this is NOT SURPRISING at all.

This season has gone from bad to worse. Not a patch on Holland's season one. Really bad production choices with poor judging. They have really messed with what season 1 good to make it bonkers. Think they have alienated a lot of fans world wide. Seems like they already have Vanessa picked as the winner. Really not fussed on watching finale now.

It wasn't a bad episode up until the judging. Sending home the front runner and keeping the only person who literally CANNOT legitimately win is the strangest decision I've ever seen on this show. Well can't wait to see which of the other 2 win...

A lot has already been said by other fans but omfg I have to rant.

My theory is that they had to eliminate Keta before the finale because production wants Vanessa to win and Keta's track record would have been too good to make her lose the final. Now they have Puny and Vanessa in the final two and it would be less of an uproar if Vanessa takes the win.

I cringe from the favoritism towards Vanessa. I really like her aesthetic on the runway, don't get me wrong, but in nearly every maxi challenge she sucked. Her talent wasn't even a talent, it was an emotional voice over where she jumped around in a cage and grabbed a rose. Every acting challenge was done poorly and yet because of her above average runways she gets saved from the lipsync (snatch game, cinderrula and last episode should have been btm2). Fred literally said multiple times last episode: "the maxi challenge will weigh heavily in my decision". Then on the main stage he mentions that Vanessa sucked and forgot her lines, but because her runway was soooo good (which it wasn't) she was safe over Keta who nailed her maxi challenge. Like what is that hypocrisy????

Also the favoritism towards Vivaldi en the Countess, who worked for Fred on season 1, is very obvious. Please learn from this Fred or just stop being the main judge if you can't be neutral.

It feels bad to say this but I hope Drag Race Holland is cancelled for at least a year so it shows that favoritism will not be tolerated. It should be a prime example of how to NOT do it. It is full of hidden agendas and planned eliminations. And perhaps this is also the case in other drag race franchises, but at least it's covered up better. It is unfair to the queens who competed and also the queens who want to compete in the future, because apparently it only matters what you represent and what your drag resume is.

Wtf happened this episode? Nothing made sense. They gave the win to Puny for best performance, even though they hated her look, but save Vanessa just because she had a great look????? And then, how can you eliminate Keta like that? She was the only possible winner of this season, and she just got robbed in the worst way I've ever seen on Drag Race.

This show has become atrocious and homophobic. It has literally tarnished the reputation of Dutch drag queens and dutch tv in general. For the sake of the contestants, I hope this show is never renewed for another season.

Incredible how they ruined the season. A stupid judge to the max. The previous season let a competitor who was always among the worst reach the final. In this same season he eliminates the one with the worst results despite the fact that he won the lip sync and leaves the one with the best performance. Two chapters later he eliminates the best competitor and leaves someone who is not even the best competitor and also broke the rules of the show. Can someone explain to me what this mock judge is based on to make his decisions? Disgusting Fred.

Blatant favouritism is what is making this episode so BAD. The way production decided to save the person who did Fred's hair in season 1 of the show over the person that had a track record of consecutive win/high/safe placements since episode ONE is SOOOOOO baffling.. Keta Minaj is and ALWAYS will be one of the most robbed queens in the entire franchise's history alongside legends like Manila Luzon and Shangela. Every time I think of this episode, my hair starts to fall out, I get severe acne and I lose all senses known to humankind. SPOILER ALERT: So excited for Keta to get the opportunity to show their drag to a wider audience soon. It will be epic.

Ok. Listen. What the hell was that. I knew this season was bad, but this just destroyed it. Even if you keep Vivaldi in the last episode (who should have been disqualified almost immediately after the fact that she broke her contract), Keta was not even the worst here. Fred legitimately said that Maxi Challenges took a lot into account, and as we all saw, Vanessa did the worst job. She messed up and forgot lines, and because of her "above average" runways, she was saved over Keta who nailed that challenge. The fact then that you keep a cheater over the frontrunner just because of nepotism and her styling Fred's wigs is insane to me. I'm so glad this franchise was forsaken and thrown into the gutter.
