Thoroughly enjoyable, Yellow board successfully brings a new depth to commercial Kannada cinema. Solid effort by debut director, Thrilok who ensures the multi-layered plot stays on path culminating into a highly rewarding climax.

Khan Review - Another kannada flop
zkzuber14 October 2022
With my experience I had found kannada cinema the worst from South film industry this is again one of them. Well don't know how this got high ratings but being a watcher of South movies with subtitles on ott I found it to be below average. Since we watch dubbed or subtitles South movies first ten to twenty minutes is enough for me to conclude if this movies can be watched till end or stopped. In short the film starts with a girl dancing alone in a pub drunk and leaves when harassed by few guys, she alone rides the bike drunk on empty road at night with guys following her and get hit by their car. Later a van kidnaps two three girls in broad daylight from road and a reporters follows them. Instead of calling her colleagues or police she enters the ware house where the kidnapped girls are kept and in that process she too gets locked and trapped in. Now what we see she is very relaxed as if she is in garden and lectures the girls they should be strong, later she ask them to sit as if she is conducting a conference and speaks about women empowerment comfortably while the goons are out side. Slight forward there you see the leading guy singing as song. That's it! Can't watch it further. If you have time to waste you can definitely watch it.
