Too much contrived drama
teepack-7531216 August 2021
Let's hope this is the end of this series. I can just imagine the writer thinking, what can go wrong in a wedding? And then including every thing she could think of in the script. The idea of the series was great, but in typical Hallmark fashion, they dragged it on for as long as they could.

Very Disappointing

Warning: Spoilers
I've watched all 5 of the Wedding March movies and was excited when I heard the 6th was premiering . I have to say it was disappointing. It wasn't as good as the other 5. I was anticipating the focus to be on Mick and Olivia and instead it was more about the other couple. We waited 5 years for them to finally get married so it would of been nice to see it more about them. It would of been nice if their kids and Duke could of been there also. It explained why they weren't but it still left me unsatisfied. I'm really hoping there will be a 7th to tie up loose ends. Did Olivia's daughter get married? Did Mick's get engaged. Come on Hallmark bring back the excitement that the other 5 had. I loved the acting. The stars were great but the storyline left alot to be desired.

Love the main characters but anticlimatic ending

Warning: Spoilers
After 5 movies I had high hopes for this finale! Not sure if it was because of covid and film schedules but almost no one from the original movie was in this one! Wanted to see the daughters, the chef, maybe even jack's sister? Did we really need to add in a brother we never heard of? Or this random needy couple that took all the focus away from jack and Olivia? How are their daughters doing? Did the one of the previous movie marry her fiancé? Did the other one get engaged to her boyfriend? The movie was ok, a wedding that starts simple and goes crazy and then back to simple, but being advertised as the FINALE of this long journey it was bland. The flower arch was beautiful , but the family and warmth of the earlier movies is missing. I sort of wish there would be another one to really wrap things up but this seems to be the end.

A dragged out movie series..
ts-000016 August 2021
Should of been maybe three movies,if it really offered something new & fresh.

But was very similar, clichéd & typical Hallmark fashion.

In all honesty.. Been so long between this & previous movies forgot about any relevance, over the series to care or feel excited on this continuation.

What next: Wedding March-Having a Baby or Wedding March-Vow Renewal even perhaps they pass the torch and have Wedding March-Next generation. Lol.

Average acting,as mentioned storylines & overall decent cinematography.

If bored or already invested in the series, than give it a watch!

Not one will be watching,again.. Hallmark has become, blah!

Love the series!

Warning: Spoilers
I have enjoyed this series and was looking forward to #6. Great chemistry between Olivia and Mick. This movie was more about the other couple getting married and not enough about Olivia and Mick. After 5 previous installments I would think probably the last one would focus on the couple.

I really missed Aaron Pearl as Duke, he was in the previous 5 installments. Also, I found it odd that there was never any mention about Olivia or Mick's daughters after the first couple of movies.

I fear that this series will never end.

This is the one where Olivia and Mick finally get married. But not before dealing with the wedding of another couple. The other couple had an interesting dynamic. At first, the guy, who is a fast rising movie action star, seems like a n exemplary nice guy and totally devoted to his down-to-earth bride to be. As the movie goes on, though, we see that he is a manipulative passive-aggressive jerk while putting self-promotion before his wedding despite promising faithfully to keep it low key with no hype or publicity. His favorite trick is to tell his increasingly frustrated and unhappy fiancé that this is a one-off and if he doesn't do the interview/photo-op/magazine spread it will be harmful to his career. And then he tells his bride: "But you decide. It's all up to you." Knowing full well that she will go along with it or be the mean selfish b!tch.

The sensible bride probably would have drawn the line in the sand long before she did except that at the beginning of the movie, Josie/Olivia advises her to be more flexible to her future husbands needs or risk a break-up. And then, after giving her that piece of questionable advice, she lets her twist in the wind while meekly putting up with the groom's nonsense and continual changes of plan.

Other than the step by step descent of the groom from nice guy to stupid jerk, the rest of the film was the usual string of disasters with flowers, cake, dress, caterers, vows, etc. I think many viewers are tired of this series, including Olivia and Mick's two daughters who I guess were too busy to attend, or weren't invited. Plus, the age difference between Jack and Josie is starting to get noticeable. It would have been fine except that they are supposed to be the same age.

I am happy to report, however, that Josie Bisset finally has gotten her hair situation, which has been a source of suspense and amusement throughout the previous 5 movies, somewhat under control. Luckily though, at the end, we are treated to a series of flashbacks from the previous movies which highlight her struggles.

I hope this is finally it

I don't get what kept this series going. Wagner and Bissett are OK, but not worth 6 installments.

Yes the movie star is selfish and doesn't seem to care a wit about his fiancée's wishes until the climax. It's not like she never told him, but then she just keeps giving in to him. The woman needs to realize that's how her life is going to go if she marries him.

I prefer stories where the romance develops, but in this one, all the main couples are already pretty well set from the beginning.

I hate wedding disasters and this one throws one disaster on top of another until it's just sad. Between those and the movie star's selfishness, it was hard to enjoy this movie.

Why all the hate?

We enjoyed it. All the characters were fun, and the obstacles had to be overcome and were. Yea, a little too many obstacles all at once, but come on. I don't think we've seen any of the other installments of this, but will look for them.

Horrible
vintagegeek21 August 2021
They intentionally wrote a wedding script where everything goes absolutely wrong. I mean everything. And in not a funny way. Plus the groom has no spine and roles over on everything. We love Hallmark but the characters are sappy, even for them. The actors playing the bride and groom are flat, with no charisma. And/Or the script and director were so bad there's nothing they could do. The bride should have walked away after the first day.

What else can happen?

Warning: Spoilers
I haven't watched any of the other movies so there's that. So I didn't know about all the missing characters and previous situations. I actually liked all the couples well enough but the multiple wedding disasters coupled with the ever escalating 'celebrity' wedding was definitely over the top. I think the artsy cake guy was supposed to be funny but fell flat. Everyone deserved a better story.

Woke March
SuperVillainTX28 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
To start, Duke is not in this. Jack Wagner's characters best friend throughout the series. And they explain it by saying he's on vacation?! Really?! The star couple is finally getting married and his best friend suddenly takes off on vacation. Then they replace him with his "brother " we've never been introduced to.

Instead of bringing back regular characters that would make sense for the star couple's marriage (finally) such as Olivia's mother who has been hounding her to tie the knot since the beginning, or their daughters, or Mick's sister, the focus is more about an invented PC/woke couple that no one cares about and takes up the majority of the story!!! What?! The only good thing is this would serve as a perfect example of how NOT TO WRITE, and how NOT TO WRITE a final episode 🙄

why was so many people missing from this?
vhzhmtc28 September 2022
Movie 1 they meet again after 20 years and fall in love again.

Movie 2 they become partners and move in together plus we meet wyatt julie boyfriend.

Movie 3 bonnie and sean get maired, mick's sister and We meet julie's boyfriend wyatt.

Move 4 grac and erice engagment is announced and mick is trying to propos to olivia but don't

Movie 5 should have been aboout grace and erice wedding but IT'S NOT AND I'M NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT!!!!!! The new wedding plainer should have been their for grace and erice's wedding!!!! The only thing that happens is mick and olivia get engaged the last 5 min of the move.

Movie 6 Waited 5 movies for this to happen AND JUST LIKE 5, 6 IS NOT WHAT I THOUGT IS WOULD BE!!!! Why was duke, julie and wyatt, grace and erice, bonnie and sean not in the show at all? To have nora and jhon show up in the last 10 min was so stuppid too, Her mom would have wanted to be their as soon as she heard the wedding was moved up. Mick has a brother out of the blue???? Didn't her them talk about him in 3 when mick and bonnie was talking about their child hood???In facted i thight once their wedding got movied up all of the family should have showed up to help. I feel like they would have droped everything for olivia and mick's wedding. They should have done it with everyone helping out.

Plus why did we never see grace and erices wedding? Movie 5 should have been all about grace and erice's wedding and #6 should have been all about olivia and mick wedding. WHAT IS HALLMARK THINKING!!!!!

Hallmark needs better ideas then Spoiled Brides who think life revolves around them. Plus it needs to get out of the PC business and stop trying to make everyone Woke!!!!

Can we be done with this?
toncincin15 August 2021
Please!!! So over this long drawn out story. So they are great wedding planners. So he's a great rock star. Whatever. He can't sing worth a darn - much less be the warmup performer on tour! She is just too agreeable and nice. Hate this series...only giving it four stars because the location is nice.

Unbelievable ending
Dodibird1 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The start of the series wasn't too bad, though it became a bit predictable with each new episode. It really started out great and had potential. I remember Jack from my days of watching daytime dramas which is why I decided to watch it. All of the main actors were great. The sad part is, it started out really building the relationships between the main characters and in the end neither of the daughters were even at whatever kind of wedding that was supposed to be between Mick and Olivia. There wasn't even anymore mention of them. I just didn't get it. It was like the show just fell apart or they just totally dropped the ball. It kept me somewhat entertained at first, but this last episode left me saying, "Are you kidding me???" Totally disappointed.
