Gwen recently lost her grandmother and she is struggling to run their bakery and regain the Christmas spirit, and figure out her grandmother's magical recipe for the town's legendary Enchanted Christmas Cake.

When a high-end chef comes to town to film a Christmas special, local baker Gwen agrees to help handsome TV producer Gavin prepare for the shoot in hopes of regaining her Christmas spirit, which she lost when her grandmother Lottie passed on the year before.

Gwen has taken over her late grandmother's bakery. At Christmastime the bakery's signature item is the famous "Liebeskuchen," and Gwen is desperately trying to recreate it, but the recipe her grandmother left is missing the last ingredient. Before Christmas the town is also visited by celebrity chef Danté, who wants to film his Christmas special there. The show's producer, Gavin, tries to get Gwen to participate in the show with her Liebeskkuchen. She is reluctant, not only because she still hasn't found out the last ingredient, but also because she wants to protect the recipe. Now Gavin must battle between Danté's wishes and Gwen's integrity--something that gets more complicated as he falls for Gwen.—Devnull

TV producer and devoted fixer Gavin prepares a seasonal location for spoiled-rotten, ingrate celebrity studio chef Dante's Christmas special, in a small town with an unforgettable German specialty: 'Liebeskuchen' (love cake). However the bakery was recently left by the late grandmother to Paris-trained pastry chef Gwen, who remains clueless after many test batches about the magical ingredient, specified in the recipe only as Ma. Dante's obsession with hot-tubs renders Gwen's pa's inn the only fit residence. Gavin hires her as his local adviser in exchange for access to Dante, who proves no help but tricks her to by the guest in his show and breaks his promise not to mention the recipe, wrongly assuming she knows. The culminating stress brings Cupid-hot Gavin and Gwen to reconsider their forgotten dreams.—KGF Vissers
