When Judge Schuller looks at the photo in the locket, he opens the lid downwards and the chain is at the top. When Rossi looks at it later, he opens the lid upwards and the chain is at the bottom, meaning the photo is turned around.
The police tell the team that Bosola can't get off Long Island. That is highly unlikely, especially to have had arranged it so quickly and apparently so easily. It would mean shutting down, or at least limiting access to area airports, including JFK and LaGuardia, which are geographically on Long Island. It would mean the same for all Long Island Railroad trains and many subways in Brooklyn and Queens. There are also ferries to consider, and not just main roads, but side and service roads as well as some bridges and tunnels. Even if they had accomplished all of that without any uproar, Long Island has many marinas, not to mention plenty of private docks in people's backyards.
At the police station, Rossi says that because the barrel of the gun was not rifled, the bullets would have had little velocity. This is incorrect; rifling has little effect on muzzle velocities and that effect is detrimental. Rifling imparts spin on the projectile and is meant to stabilize the projectile in flight. Bullets fired from a smooth bore weapon would have minimally higher velocities given the same caliber and powder charge.
