Best of the series so far.

It's Cal's last day, and Cheryl is struggling to carry on the musical without Big Viv, who's serving her time in solitary.

I'll be honest, this was perhaps my favourite episode so far, it was funny, it was meaningful, and to be fair there has been some good character development here. I did like how Anastasia was explored, along with Big Viv she's become the villain of the piece, I'm sure we'd all like to know and understand her story a bit better.

This was funny, a little more daring than previous episodes, a few jokes and gags you wouldn't perhaps expect to see in 2022, but nothing offensive or derogatory, just good old fashioned fun.

Definitely not one central character, it does all feel a little random, and that is no bad thing.

The final episode has to be the coming together of the play, Songs from the inside. The moment where we get to see if Laura's well meaning, and alternative ideas have worked.

Funny, 8/10.

My favourite so far!

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was probably the funniest episode of the series. At the beginning of the episode, Laura is seen discussing with a new inmate about what her nickname could be and the humour is not offensive but does lightly refer back to when people could get away with that sort of comedy. The episode contains all of our favourite repetitive jokes and gags from past episodes, such as Gary trying to make conversation with Cheryl Fergison, and so much more! Despite all the comedy, there is upsetting news that Cal (who had a great relationship with Sal) is being released as she didn't need to be in prison for such a long period of time. Cheryl is challenged with the musical after Cal is leaving and Big Viv is stuck in solitary. She even claims that she is missing Big Viv despite her being terrifying as she did have a stage presence! The funniest part of the episode though is when Laura and Dean merge into each other and start to side with one another unknowingly! In summary, I'd give this episode a solid 9/10 and I'm looking forward to the final one, which may be even better.
