Factual errors

Katherine Parr was not arrested in the presence of the king, nor was she dragged off to a dungeon. The warrant for her arrest was dropped, and found by a loyal servant, who brought it straight to her. Katherine completely lost her composure at seeing the king's signature on the document, and began to cry and scream. Henry heard her, and sent a servant to see what was the matter. When he found out, he sent word for her not to worry, and received her the next day. Katherine had learned her lesson; she was submissive and humble to Henry from then on, and he remanded her arrest warrant. Ultimately, her life was saved by his death.
Katherine Parr wasn't as close to Anne Askew as this film would have it appear.
Katherine Parr most certainly did NOT strangle Henry VIII and kill him; she wasn't even at his deathbed.
There were actually many people present at Henry VIII's deathbed, including Archbishop Cranmer-he was not just found dead in bed one morning.
There is no evidence that Katherine Parr was ever pregnant by Henry VIII; in fact, given his physical condition, it is likely that he was impotent.

Anachronisms

Katherine Parr would never have been semi-alone, in a state of deshabille with her sleeves and hood removed, in front of a man she was not married to-this would have been terribly improper behavior, especially for a queen; not to mention unwise, given the fate of two of her predecessors.
During the first formal dinner after having returned from the war front, Henry directs Will, the jester, to be quiet. Will makes the gesture of zipping his mouth and not say anything else. The gesture of zipping one's mouth as a symbolic way of indicating silence is generally believed to have emerged in the mid-20th century. The earliest recorded references to this gesture in American culture date back to the 1950s, or about 400 years after the time of the movie events.

Character error

The honorific used for Queen Catherine changes throughout the film. She is sometimes called Your Highness and sometimes Your Majesty. The correct form of address would be Your Grace. Highness is for princes and princesses, Majesty was new and used only for King Henry.
