Max tells Thomas' mother Annabelle what happened to the teacher Alexis Clement a quarter of a century ago. To the astonishment of Thomas and Max, Annabelle already knows about it. Thomas finds out that Fanny probably has something to do with Vinca's disappearance. He also learns surprising things about his family. The navigation system in Annabelle's car leads Thomas to a house. There he discovers a picture that shows his mother with another man. Max (Grégory Fitoussi) can't take it anymore. He admits in front of Thomas' mother Annabelle (Dervla Kirwan) that he and Thomas (Ioan Gruffudd) killed the teacher Alexis Clement. However, Annabelle, who was herself a teacher at the international school, already knew this. She suggests that they all meet again in the evening and discuss how to proceed now. First, however, Annabelle wants to track down Max's father Francis (Cosimo Fusco), who helped the boys cover up their crime 25 years ago. But now Francis has disappeared without a trace. Have his connections to Russian criminals been his undoing? Meanwhile, Thomas continues to try to solve the mystery of Vinca's (Ivanna Sakhno) disappearance. A promising clue leads back to a performance in the school theater. Will the decisive clue be found here?
