A dead body found in the basement of the school gymnasium initially remains inconsequential for Thomas and Max. However, an old bag with money has turned up there, which raises many questions. Manon, a former classmate and current police officer, takes up the investigation of the case. Journalist Pianelli, who is investigating Vinca's disappearance, assists her. Meanwhile, Thomas finds out that Vinca had an affair with his father. Thomas (Ioan Gruffudd) has observed police officers finding a skeleton in the basement of the school gymnasium. He meets with Max (Grégory Fitoussi) to inform him about it. Thomas is confident that no one will make a connection to the crime they both committed 25 years ago. In fact, the find remains inconsequential at first. However, in one of the old lockers in the gym there was also a bag containing almost 100,000 francs. The policewoman Manon (Shemss Audat), a former classmate of Thomas and Max, gets a tip about this from the journalist Pianelli (Matthias Van Khache). He tells her that the locker in question used to be Thomas'. Manon meets with Thomas and confronts him about the bag. He denies having anything to do with it.
