Really insanity
keirarobina198120 December 2009
A bet is a curious one. Although the story is not original, what really matters is the staging and coordination, which is made like the film "Scanner Darkly" by Richard Linklater. There are very good drawings and orchestral music is not bad, although the title track, while not bad, seems out of place. A genuine curiosity that also proves that money is not everything, since the budget was a few euros. A pity, for wanting to do a short quasi-experimental, has lost the opportunity to write a good script. The first association between the crazy minds of the curious Sergio Munoz and perception of the shorts have Ruben Arnaiz (as producer).

A curiosity

Really short experimental. History is not the most important thing in this case, but everything else is very well-honed as music, editing and sound. It is also a skill that no dialogues, as they could spoil everything. The image is fine but can be a problem for the hearing if he is on the big screen because the image format (Cinemascope) may cause some dizziness or epilepsy. Even its creator and director, Sergio Munoz, is better than expected, as he really is not actor.Ana Cambero brings sensuality and don't really rotoscoped animation works well, although note that it is a little "trap". A strange proposal, not without mistakes, but curiously, the end of the day.

Animation extravaganza

An animated short film style "A scanner darkly" by Richard Linklater, relatively speaking of course, given the ridiculous budget and the camera (DV). It's kind of paranoid love story between two characters (Ana Cambero and the director, Sergio Munoz) on Christmas Day. The truth is that it is not exactly original story, but has its point of curiosity, thanks to the good use of sound and music. Although in the end do not really know you want to say and all is lost in drugs, alcohol and snuff, and ends too abruptly, it is equally true that it has a very good pace, and is not heavy, which can occur if shorts, but last bit. Not bad.
