OMG

My first 10 rating, not that all the others weren't worthy, but this episode blew me away.

I don't want this to end.

For those commenting about the darkness it's contributing to the aura of this show.

As others have titled this episode, another good episode.

another good one

Warning: Spoilers
That is what I like about his show and also saw that on Reacher.. nicely done insertions of flashbacks to show how characters had interacted with each other or met in the field before.. that is how it should be done.. shown, not explained with characters talking about it.. that is lazy writing.

More action and i was sad to see doc romano get wasted like that but he had already served his purpose in the story.

When reeece got the usb drive, I was waiting for the part when he turned his back on the reporter to grab it, for her to point the gun at his face and just get it back and run away... luckily writers did not go the lazy writing route.. reece got mad at her selfish she is thinking only about her story and things just kept moving

jai cortney is a great actor, i like him, but here he is just the bad dude that does not do much.. and get killed easily lol.. scene was great but come on.. reece just took the security guards one by one,, thought the guys were supposed to be former military.. and by the way, where was the FBI guy.. thought he was like a few 100ft to the side checking another van.. how come he never made it to the shootout? It was kinda convenient right?

Amazing episode
timmyhollywood17 July 2022
Daaaaang. This show has been on and off for me. Mostly on, but at a few points I found my interest waning. The last five minutes of this episode were absolutely superb. Not only that, but now where can it go from here? I love that the plot seems basically resolved at this point and it could go anywhere. Amazing episode, good show, definitely above average for the genre.

I understand the complaints of darkness.
Alleycat774 July 2022
So if you watch this show on a 4k Ultra HD TV, the lighting seems to not be a problem, however, I tried watching an episode on my phone, and yes it was like pitch black. I had to go in the settings on my phone and manually turn the display lighting to almost max. It was fine after that. I have had this issue with man Prime Video shows/movies if I'm not watching on my TV. I don't pretend to understand why it's fine on my TV and dark as hell on my phone, but I've learned to take the 3 seconds to switch my settings on my phone to almost display lighting "max" when I'm watching Prime Video content. It really takes a couple seconds and then you can see everything that was dark before. I don't know why it's Prime content that is like this. I think it's because many of us have our settings for brightness on display as automatic, but need to manually change the settings to bright. Just my opinion.

I watched the previous episodes and this one was spectacular. Congratulations to the actors and actresses, direction and production. This episode was made with great care and I watched the final scenes twice in a row. It was just spectacular. Breathtaking.

Another great episode.

Warning: Spoilers
If you have not got the hint yet: DON'T watch this on a mobile device. Everyone watching on their phones complains it too dark. Watch it on a larger format like a 4K TV & it's perfect.

Loving this telling of the story. The changes & killing off of characters differs from the books - like Reece's interactions with characters too. Quite different telling with the same spirit. Horn was almost last to die on book, does much earlier here is episode 5.

Different but great. Everyone did a great job on this show - except not a huge fan of Katie B. The character is much stronger in the books & much more likable. Constance Wu just isn't doing her justice.

An action masterpiece
Hazu2912 July 2022
The quality on this one is too d. High. Amazing. Congrats to the production. Action masterpiece. It's almost unbelievable that we are being offered such a good show in 2022. And I know a lot of people are mad, they don't love quality, they love mediocrity.

The Streets of San Francisco
lavatch22 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
In this action-packed episode, things come to a head with regard to Reece's obsession with Steve Horn. Mike Tedesco was the owner of Nusselbaum and apparently took on Capstone as a subsidiary. Project 4895 was intended to save lives of those stricken with PTSD. Instead, it had the opposite effect.

Tedesco tries to bail and turn informant, passing the critical hard drive onto Katie. Tedesco is killed by one of Steve Horn's goons. After saving Katie's life, Reece takes possession of the data and learns that the plot extends to the top brass in the Navy. Secretary Hartley is beginning to unravel the scheme from her end, recognizing that her assistant Richard is on the take.

Reece once saved the life of his fellow SEAL Liz Riley. Now, she helps him construct a bomb to blow up Steve Horn's vehicle. On the bustling streets of San Francisco in the financial district, the fireworks take place. Katie is hurt in the blast, but is ok. Steve Horn is wounded and Reece then finishes the job.

Reece's enemies are now beginning to fall like dominoes.

Reminds me of Rambo
doug-1518313 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I really like this show. If you watch this episode it is very much like the first Rambo which I thought was great. I mean hanging on the clif, calling in a bunch of people to track him down, hiding in a cave talking to them on the walky talkie it plays out just like Rambo did.

If only we could see the scenes
tonyw2053 July 2022
C'mon, The lighting level in these scenes is so distracting that you cannot follow the story. An otherwise well done work destroyed by a simple failure of anyone to review the quality of the lighting prior to release. Really?

Warning: Spoilers
1. Steve drinks some shakes 2. Car goes boom 3. Steve doesn't actually know how to combat.

I have so many questions. The whole company sequences are pretty low-tension, meaningless bits that I can't love. Most of the side characters have no screen presence at all and they all feel so lifeless. The entire police force also have little to no life in them, basically not threatening at all. I mean, while Reece blew up the middle of SF, they just watched. Also, SWAT team was supposed to be on standby but nobody showed up. I like Reece's determination but this mission is basically a suicide mission even if you are a spec ops elite force. Steve was taken out with no effort which makes the audience think "what's next?" Killing off everyone who was involved? Makes sense on Reece's end but it really is pushing the boundary of realism.

I can't even remember how Katie reached the conclusion that the drug causes tumors. Sure. But how would that be motive for killing off an entire SEAL platoon to cover it up? It's so unlikely that this drug caused 100% tumors after passing preclinical trials. Even if that's true, there's so many easier and less riskier ways of covering this up other than killing the entire platoon, such as paying them out, signing an NDA..

Why hasn't there been another hit man on Reece ever since Gordo was out? If it was that important to kill the entire platoon, I would have spent more effort tying up the loose end than Steve tried.

Never explained why Mike has zero authority when it is his product? A single sentence would clear that up. No VC would exercise that much of control over a company like that.

One thing I liked was the conflict between Katie and Reece. It makes sense cause Reece wants to kill them all while Katie wants to publish it.

Overall, I think the show is deteriorating just as quickly as Reece is doing (getting sick of all the Lucy hallucinations! Perhaps that's why they named her Lucy). The show is losing its drive rather quickly and that is a sad thing to watch.

Yikes!
rdbass19 July 2022
This series requires you suspend disbelief and this episode was just too much. Reece's one man war in the heart of San Francisco was so far over the top, not sure I'll watch the remaining episodes. It's action packed but c'mon man...
