Celebrated in its day (1976) though hideously dated in 2020, 'Choom Pae' is not a million miles away from the type of picture Jacky Chan, became so famous for producing. This one though originates out of Thailand and although hard to judge by today's standards, it's still fun and solid entertainment. The fight scenes are a bit 'hokey' and borrows music from both Spaghetti Westerns and James bond. The old hand painted posters for these type of pictures were a fantastic type of art, that has been sadly lost to time. 'Choom Pae' still retains a certain charm and is watchable for nostalgic reasons.
